In this case, since the alternating current is applied, the direction of the electric field changes according to the frequency. It should be noted that the DC type PDP is different in that the electrodes have a structure not covered with a dielectric layer, but the discharge phenomenon is the same. Then, the fluorescent screen 109 emits light by ultraviolet rays generated by the discharge, and the light transmitted through the front plate can be visually recognized by an observer.

イパネルを提供することにある。In such a PDP, it is one of the important problems to increase the brightness when the phosphor screen is illuminated. Various methods have been proposed to increase the luminance, but there is no definitive solution, and the luminance is gradually increased by the accumulation of these methods. Increasing the light emitting area of the phosphor screen generally improves the luminous efficiency due to, for example, efficient operation of ultraviolet light on the phosphor screen, leading to an increase in luminance.
However, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the fluorescent screen 109 is provided so as to cover the wall surface of the partition 103 and the cell bottom, and the fluorescent screen 109 is restricted by the shape of the wall surface of the partition 103 and the cell bottom. That is, the surface of the fluorescent screen 109 is the partition 1
A simple shape determined by the shape of the wall surface and the bottom surface of the cell 03 restricts the light emitting area. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a plasma display panel having a partition shape capable of increasing the luminance when the fluorescent screen emits light.

That is, the present invention is "a plasma display panel in which a plurality of partitions formed in parallel lines on a back plate have a shape in which a width of a discharge cell portion is reduced and a discharge space is enlarged". According to the present invention, since the partition has a narrow shape in the discharge cell portion, the discharge space is expanded, the ultraviolet light is generated efficiently, the emission area of the phosphor screen is increased, and the ultraviolet light acts efficiently, thereby increasing the brightness. It is possible. On the other hand, other than the discharge cell portion, the width has a relatively large shape and can play a role required for the width of the partition as a whole.

According to the present invention, since the partition wall has a wavefront shape on the side surface, the side area is increased, the light emitting area of the phosphor screen is increased, and ultraviolet light acts efficiently, so that the luminance can be increased. In addition, the present invention is "a plasma display panel having a shape in which a plurality of partitions are formed in parallel lines on a back plate, the width of which gradually decreases from a skirt portion to a top portion".
According to the present invention, since the partition has a shape in which the width decreases stepwise from the skirt portion to the top portion, the light emitting area of the phosphor screen increases, and ultraviolet light acts efficiently, so that the luminance can be increased.

/ ° C to 100 × 10 -7 / ° C. If the softening point of the glass frit exceeds 650 ° C., it is necessary to increase the firing temperature, and depending on the lamination object, it is not preferable because it is thermally deformed. It is not preferable because glass frit is fused and voids and the like are generated in the layer. When the coefficient of thermal expansion is out of the range of 60 × 10 −7 / ° C. to 100 × 10 −7 / ° C., the difference from the coefficient of thermal expansion of the glass substrate is large,
It is not preferable because distortion occurs.

When the amount of the resin component is less than 3 parts by weight, a problem arises in that the pattern shape retention is poor and the production of PDP or the like is hindered. On the other hand, if the amount exceeds 50 parts by weight, carbon remains in the film after sintering, and the quality is undesirably deteriorated.

The base film 11 filled with is preferably transferred from the back surface of the base film 11 using a pressing roller (not shown) or the like after being laminated on the transfer target body 14.
When the resin component in the ink layer is a thermoplastic resin, it is preferable to apply heat and pressure by a method such as a hot roller, a laser beam, or a hot press. It may be cured,
After the transfer, it may be cured. Further, a heat roller may be used at the time of lamination. When the pattern is a partition in a PDP member, the transfer target 14 has only an electrode layer on a glass substrate with or without an underlayer.
Alternatively, an electrode layer and a dielectric layer are sequentially laminated.

For example, as a pattern for a partition wall forming layer, after a black ink layer is first provided partially in a concave portion, then a white ink layer is laminated, and a filling structure including a black ink layer and a white ink layer may be used. In this case, a partition having a multilayer structure in which black ribs are stacked on white ribs in a state of being transferred onto a substrate can be used. Thereby, the observation side of the partition becomes black, and the contrast is improved. In transferring a pattern using a transfer sheet, a filling operation and a transfer operation may be repeated a plurality of times with the same pattern to obtain a desired film thickness.

A pattern having excellent uniformity, uniform thickness and good distribution accuracy can be obtained. After the ink layer has been transferred to the transfer object in a pattern,
By vaporizing, decomposing, and volatilizing the organic components in the ink layer at a firing temperature of up to 650 ° C., the inorganic powder can be tightly bound by the molten glass frit. A ground layer, a dielectric layer, and the like can be formed.

For example, the partition walls in the present invention can be formed by a partition forming method such as a photolithography method using a photosensitive material, a printing method, a sand blast method, or a filling method of forming a mold on a substrate and filling. In the case of the shape as shown in FIG. 3, for example, a partition up to a height of 5a is formed as a first step, and then a partition up to a height of 5b is formed as a second step. Then, the partition wall can be formed by the above-described partition wall forming method.

(Formation of partition walls) After peeling off the polyethylene film of the transfer sheet, an auto cut laminator (Asahi Kasei Corporation)
And a model ACL-9100), and laminated on a glass substrate provided with an underlayer, an electrode, and a dielectric layer in that order under a transfer condition of a substrate preheating temperature of 80 ° C. and a laminating roller temperature of 100 ° C. Next, the base film was peeled off, and 570 ° C.
Was fired.
