When driving, a mounting surface forming mechanism that forms a wheelchair mounting surface by displacing the step board of the specific step, a wheel stop provided near the lower side of the wheelchair mounting surface and vertically displaced with respect to the wheelchair mounting surface, Means for switching to the wheelchair driving mode by the operation of 1 to stop the specific steps on the side of the entrance floor or to drive at a low speed, and to set the wheelchair mounting surface after stopping the specific steps on the side of the entrance floor or driving at a low speed. Means for driving the mounting surface forming mechanism for forming, means for protruding a wheel stop after the specific step is stopped on the floor side of the entrance or at a low speed operation, and Means for starting operation under the condition of the protrusion of the stop and accelerating to the normal operation speed, means for starting deceleration when the specific step approaches the descending floor, and on the descending floor side of the specific step after deceleration. Means for storing the wheelchair during stop or low-speed operation, and the mounting for releasing the wheelchair mounting surface formed on condition of stop or low-speed operation on the exit floor side of the specific step after deceleration. Means for driving the surface forming mechanism; and means for releasing the wheelchair operation mode by a third operation and returning to normal operation on condition that the wheelchair is stored.

The normal operation mode is switched to the wheelchair transport operation mode by the key switch of the operation panel 23A. By operating the key switch, the escalator that has been operating normally decelerates, and the specific step 6 stops on the entrance floor 3A side. Specific steps 6 when stopped
All of the treads 7F to 9F appear in a horizontal state (FIG. 3), and at this time, the treads 7F to 9F and the base 12 and the intermediate base 13S are connected by connecting mechanisms 16 to 18 so that the wheelchair mounting space is reduced. Is secured.

However, in the case of the descending operation of transporting from the upper floor 2 to the lower floor 1, similarly to the above procedure, the clerk call button 22
B, the wheelchair 10 can be transported by operating the key switch of the operation panel 23B, the start button of the operation panel 23B, and the restart button 24A. However, in the case of the descending operation, the projecting timing of the wheel stop 20 is different from that in the ascending operation. That is, when the specific step 6 has stopped at the upper entrance, the wheel stop 20 projects so that the wheelchair 10 does not protrude from the end of the step 9F of the lower step 9 when the user enters the wheelchair.

At the time of start-up after mounting, the escalator is started under the condition that the wheel stop 20 projects, so that even if there is a shock at the time of start-up, the wheelchair 10 does not slip off from the specific step 6.
In addition, since the acceleration of the driving speed is performed after passing through the horizontal portions of the guide rails 12A and 12B and entering the inclined portion, there is no change in the moving direction (from the horizontal portion to the inclined portion) during the acceleration, so that it is safe.

Furthermore, since the regular projection and storage of the bollard 20 are set as conditions for activation, it is possible to avoid a loss of the bollard function due to the movement of the bollard 20 even though it is not at a proper position, and to prevent the destruction of the bogie mechanism. be able to.

徴とするエスカレータ。1. A wheelchair mounting surface in which a plurality of adjacent specific steps which are connected to a general step sequence and function as a general step during a normal operation and a step board of the specific step is displaced during a wheelchair transport operation. A mounting surface forming mechanism for forming a wheelchair, a wheel stop provided near the lower side of the wheelchair mounting surface and displaced vertically with reference to the wheelchair mounting surface, and switching to a wheelchair driving mode by a first operation to ride the specific step. Means for stopping or running at a very low speed on the floor side, means for driving the mounting surface forming mechanism to form a wheelchair mounting surface after the specific step is stopped on the floor side of the entrance or after low speed operation, Means for projecting the wheelchair after stopping the specific step to the entrance floor side or under the condition of low-speed operation; Means for accelerating the specific step, means for starting deceleration when the specific step approaches the exit floor, and means for storing the wheel stop during stoppage or low-speed operation of the specific step after deceleration on the exit floor. Means for driving the mounting surface forming mechanism to release the wheelchair mounting surface formed on the condition of stopping at the exit floor side of the specific step after deceleration or at a low speed operation, and a third operation Means for canceling the wheelchair driving mode and returning to normal driving on condition that the wheelchair is stored.
