Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)基端部及び末端部、その中で延びる管腔、及び末端部に設けられた少な くとも1つの電極を有する細長いカテーテルと、 b)該カテーテルの管腔内に配置された内部屈曲手段とからなり、 前記内部屈曲手段は、屈曲可能な末端チップ部を有するとともに、カテーテル の管腔内で軸回りに回転するように形成され、 このカテーテルの管腔内の内部屈曲手段の回転により、カテーテルを軸回りに 回転させることなく、カテーテルの末端部をカテーテルの長手軸の回りに屈曲さ せることができるようにした細長いカテーテルアセンブリ。 2.前記内部屈曲手段の屈曲可能な末端チップ部の屈曲を調整するためにカテー テルアセンブリの基端部から操作可能な操作手段を含む請求項1のカテーテルア センブリ。 3.前記内部屈曲手段は、基端及び末端を備えた管部と、その中で延びる管腔と 、前記管部の末端に固定された屈曲可能な末端チップ部とカテーテルの管腔とに 流体的に連通するように末端の近傍に形成された開口と、前記管部の管腔内にス ライド可能に配置され、前記末端部の近傍の開口から延出して前記屈曲可能な末 端チップ部に固定されたコントロールワイヤとを有する請求項1のカテーテルア センブリ。 4.前記屈曲可能な末端チップ部を屈曲させる内部屈曲手段とは独立して、前記 カテーテルの管腔内で前記内部屈曲手段を長手方向に移動させる移動手段を含む 請求項1のカテーテルアセンブリ。 5.前記内部屈曲手段は、前記屈曲可能な末端チップ部の回りに配置された螺旋 コイルワイヤを含み、 前記内部屈曲手段を長手方向に移動させる移動手段は、前記屈曲可能な末端チ ップ部に固定されるとともに前記螺旋コイルを形成するワイヤとスライド可能に 係合するループを含み、 これにより、前記内部屈曲手段の長手軸回りの回転により、前記内部屈曲手段 が前記カテーテルの管腔内で長手方向に移動するようにした請求項3のカテーテ ルアセンブリ。 6.前記内部屈曲手段の屈曲可能な末端チップ部はカテーテルの末端に回転可能 に固定されている請求項1のカテーテルアセンブリ。 7.前記内部屈曲手段は第2のコントロールワイヤを含み、該第2のコントロー ルワイヤは前記管部の管腔内でスライド可能に配設され、前記管部の第2の開口 から延出して、前記屈曲可能な末端チップ部にその第2の位置で固定されている 請求項3のカテーテルアセンブリ。 8.前記第2のコントロールワイヤは、第1のコントロールワイヤが固定されて いる屈曲可能な末端チップ部の側と同じ側に固定されている請求項7のカテーテ ルアセンブリ。 9.前記第2のコントロールワイヤは、第1のコントロールワイヤが固定されて いる屈曲可能な末端チップ部の側と反対側に固定されている請求項7のカテーテ ルアセンブリ。 10.前記細長いカテーテルは閉じられた末端チップ部を有する請求項1のカテ ーテルアセンブリ。 11.前記内部屈曲手段の屈曲可能な末端チップ部は、前記カテーテルの閉じら れた末端チップ部に回転可能に固定されている請求項10のカテーテルアセンブ リ。 12.前記カテーテルの閉じられた末端チップ部は電極である請求項11のカテ ーテルアセンブリ。 13.前記電極は切除電極である請求項12のカテーテルアセンブリ。 14.前記カテーテルの末端に温度検出手段を含む請求項13のカテーテルアセ ンブリ。 15.前記屈曲可能な末端チップ部は矩形の横断面を有する請求項3のカテーテ ルアセンブリ。 16.前記屈曲可能な末端チップ部は、短寸法に対して末端方向にテーパが付け られている請求項3のカテーテルアセンブリ。 17.基端及び末端を有する安全ワイヤ又はリボンが前記カテーテル内に配置さ れ、その末端は末端チップ電極に固定され、その基端はカテーテル内で末端チッ プ電極に対して基端側のある位置でカテーテル内に固定されている請求項12の カテーテルアセンブリ。 18.リング形状のアンカーがカテーテル内に設けられ、該アンカーに前記安全 ワイヤの基端部が固定されている請求項17のカテーテルアセンブリ。 19.a)基端部及び末端部、その中で延びる管腔、末端部に設けられた複数の 電極、及び前記電極に電気的に接続された複数の電気導体を有する細長い血管内 カテーテルと、 b)カテーテルの管腔内に配置された内部屈曲手段とからなり、 前記内部屈曲手段は、屈曲可能な末端チップ部を有するとともに、カテーテル の管腔内で軸回りに回転するように形成され、 このカテーテルの管腔内の内部屈曲手段の回転により、カテーテルを軸回りに 回転させることなく、カテーテルの末端部をカテーテルの長手軸の回りに屈曲さ せることができるようにした電気生理学的な細長いカテーテルアセンブリ。
