Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ステンレス鋼の手動又は自動アーク溶接のためのアルゴンに基づくシールド ガス混合物において、前記ガス混合物が 3ないし18%のヘリウム、 1ないし3%の窒素 を含有し、 残部がアルゴン であることを特徴とするガス混合物。 2.前記ガス混合物が、 5ないし15%のヘリウム、 1.5ないし2.5%の窒素 を含有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項のガス混合物。 3.前記ガス混合物が、 8ないし10%のヘリウム、 1.5ないし2%の窒素 を含有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項のガス混合物。 4.前記ガス混合物が、約10%のヘリウム及び約2%の窒素を含有し、残部が アルゴンであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第3項の3成分ガス混合物。 5.非溶極と加工物との間にアークを形成する工程及びシールドガス混合物によ りアークを保護する工程を具備するステンレス鋼加工物を溶接するための方法に おいて、前記シールドガス混合物が、請求の範囲第1項ないし第4項のいずれか であることを特徴とする方法。
