Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.振動エネルギーイメージング装置において、前記振動エネルギーを反射器に 向けて発し、そして反射を受け、そしてそれに応答したエコー信号を発現させる 、振動エネルギーのパルスを発生させる複数のトランスジューサ素子を持つ2D トランスジューサアレーを有し、前記トランスジューサアレーは第一および第二 タイプのトランスジューサ素子を持ち、第一タイプは第二タイプの各々によって 占められるエリアの整(数)の端数ないし分数(の大きさ)により表される)ア レーのエリアを占めるものであり、 前記反射器の形状を表すイメージ信号を発生させるために前記エコー信号を 処理するための信号処理装置を有し、そして、 所定の数の第一タイプの素子を互いに選択的に結合する(組み合わせる)た め、第一タイプのそれぞれの複数の素子に個々に接続された複数の信号入力を持 つ、少なくとも1つの乗算/加算回路を含む、前記素子を前記信号処理装置に接 続するための接続装置とを含み、前記の所定の数は、整(数)の端数ないし分数 の逆数(integral fraction)であることを特徴とする、振動 エネルギーイメージング装置。 2.全体的に2Dアレーが長方形の形状をなし、そしてその横方向に沿った列と 、その高さ方向に沿った行とに配置された素子を持ち、アレーの第一の横部分は 複数の第一タイプの素子の少なくとも2つの行を含み、そしてアレーの第二の横 部分は複数の第二タイプの素子の行を含み、第二の横部分は第一の横部分に隣接 して位置決めされ、そして接続装置は、第一タイプの素子を持つ複数の行の数に 相当する複数の乗算/加算回路、この各乗算/加算回路は第一タイプの相当する 行の素子の各々に個別に接続された信号入力を持ち、そして組み合わせられるべ き所定の数の素子を選択する、を含むような、請求項1に記載の振動エネルギー イメージング装置。 3.信号処理装置が所定の入力インピーダンスを持ち、そして乗算/加算回路が 所定の入力インピーダンスに整合する出力インピーダンスを持つような、請求項 2に記載の振動エネルギーイメージング装置。 4.振動エネルギーイメージング装置を動作させる方法において、 第一および第二タイプのトランスジューサ素子、ここで第一タイプは第二タ イプの各素子によって占められるエリアの整(数)の端数ないし分数(の大きさ )により表される)アレーのエリアを占めている、の複数のトランスジューサ素 子を持つ2Dトランスジューサアレーをエネルギー活性し、そしてそ れへの応答として反射器に向かうよう方向付けられた振動エネルギーのパルスを 発生する段階と、 それへの応答として、前記2Dトランスジューサアレーにおいて前記振動エ ネルギーの反射を受け取り、前記素子が電気的エコー信号を現出させる段階と、 そして 前記反射器の形状を表すイメージ信号を現出させるため、前記素子の各々に よって現出された電気的エコー信号を信号処理装置に接続する段階、前記接続は 前記第二のタイプの前記素子の各々を直接的に前記信号処理装置に個別に接続す ることと、そして所定の数、この所定の数は分数の逆数、の第一のタイプの素子 を互いに選択的に組み合わせるために、第一のタイプの複数のそれぞれの素子に 個別に接続された複数の信号入力を持つ乗算/加算回路を通して前記第一のタイ プの素子の各々を前記信号処理装置に接続することを含む、とを含むことを特徴 とする、振動エネルギーイメージング装置の動作方法。
