Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも約0.08ミリメートルの平均気泡サイズを有する複数の独立気泡 を含む低密度の独立気泡ポリマーフォームを調製する方法において、該方法が、 非線状モノビニル芳香族ポリマー組成物および環境的に容認しうる発泡剤を含む 膨張可能または発泡可能なモノビニル芳香族ポリマー配合物を熱可塑させ、次い で該混合物にかかる圧力を下げてフォームを生成させる工程を含む方法。 2.該非線状モノビニル芳香族ポリマー組成物が少なくとも3点で分枝するポ リスチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素単独であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 4.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素と低級アルコールとの混合物であることを特徴とす る請求項1に記載の方法。 5.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とエタノールとの混合物であることを特徴とする請 求項4に記載の方法。 6.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とC1−C6炭化水素との混合物であることを特徴とす る請求項1に記載の方法。 7.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とペンタンとの混合物であることを特徴とする請求 項6に記載の方法。 8.該発泡剤が二酸化炭化水素とHCFCおよびHFC の中の発泡剤との混合物であ ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 9.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とHCFC-142b との混合物であることを特徴とする請 求項8に記載の方法。 10.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とHCFC-152a との混合物であることを特徴とする請 求項8に記載の方法。 11.該発泡剤がジメチルエーテルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方 法。 12.該発泡剤が二酸化炭素とジメチルエーテルとの混合物であることを特徴と する請求項1に記載の方法。 13.環境的に容認しうる発泡剤を用い、該非線状モノビニル芳香族ポリマー組 成物を押出すことによって調製される少なくとも0.08mmの平均気泡サイズを有す る複数の独立気泡を有し、かつ16kg/m3ないし80kg/m3の密度を有する安 定なモノビニル芳香族ポリマーフォーム。
