- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.多数の構造要素を有しその間に隙間空間が存在する動いている多孔質の ウエッブの中に重合体組成物を制御して配置させる装置において、 処理区域の内部において多孔質のウエッブに張力をかける装置、 剪断をかけて薄層化し得る重合体組成物を張力をかけた動いているウエッブの 表面に被覆する装置、 少なくとも1個のかたいナイフの刃を用い該重合体組成物に剪断をかけてこれ を薄層化してその粘度を実質的に低下させ、これを張力をかけたウエッブの中に 選択的に配置させて隙間空間の少なくとも一部は開いたままの状態で残す装置、 処理区域の内部の一つまたはそれ以上の場所における張力、該動いているウエ ッブに関する該ナイフの刃の位置、処理区域の前および後における動いているウ エッブの微小多孔度、該ウエッブの内部における重合体の内部層の配置、処理区 域の前および後におけるウエッブの密度、処理区域の前および後におけるウエッ ブの元素分析値、および動いているウエッブに被覆される重合体組成物の量から 成る群から選ばれる多数のパラメータを感知する装置、および 該感知装置に応答し、該剪断薄層化装置、該張力をかける装置、および該重合 体を被覆する装置の1個またはそれ以上を制御する装置から成ることを特徴とす る装置。 2.多数の構造要素を有しその間に隙間空間が存在する動いている多孔質の ウエッブの中に重合体組成物を制御して配置させる装置において、 処理区域の内部において多孔質のウエッブに張力をかける装置、 剪断をかけて薄層化し得る重合体組成物を張力をかけた動いているウエッブの 表面に被覆する装置、 少なくとも1個のかたいナイフの刃を用い該重合体組成物に剪断をかけてこれ を薄層化してその粘度を実質的に低下させ、これを張力をかけたウエッブの中に 選択的に配置させて隙間空間の少なくとも一部は開いたままの状態で残す装置、 処理区域の内部の一つまたはそれ以上の場所における張力、該動いているウエ ッブに関する該ナイフの刃の位置、処理区域の前および後における動いているウ エッブの微小多孔度、該ウエッブの内部における重合体の内部層の配置、処理区 域の前および後におけるウエッブの密度、処理区域の前および後におけるウエッ ブの元素分析値、および動いているウエッブに被覆される重合体組成物の量から 成る群から選ばれる多数のパラメータを感知する装置、および 該感知装置によって感知された選ばれたパラメータを製造される予め決定され た製品に対して予め設定されたパラメータの範囲と比較し、該予め決定された製 品に対する該範囲の外にある選ばれたパラメータに応答して、該張力をかける装 置、該重合体を被覆する装置、および該剪断薄層化装置の1個またはそれ以上を 制御するオンライン装置から成ることを特徴とする装置。 3.該張力をかける装置は処理区域の入り口の所に位置する第1の張力装置 および処理区域の出口の所に位置する第2の張力装置を含み、該第1および第2 の張力装置はその間に巨視的な張力区域をつくっていることを特徴とする請求項 1記載の装置。 4.該第1の張力装置は該第2の張力装置とは独立に制御されることを特徴 とする請求項3記載の装置。 5.該第1および第2の張力装置の間に位置してその間に多数の微視的な張 力区域をつくっている装置を含み、且つ 該巨視的区域および該微視的区域において張力を測定する装置、および 該測定に応答し該張力をかける装置および該剪断薄層化装置を制御する装置を 含んでいることを特徴とする請求項3記載の装置。 6.該張力をかける装置はさらに多数の他の巨視的区域をつくり該他の巨視 的区域の中で動いているウエッブの張力を制御するための該巨視的区域の内部に 位置した1個またはそれ以上の他の張力装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求 項3記載の装置。 7.該他の張力装置は一つまたはそれ以上の対のニップ・ロールを含んでい ることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。 8.該張力装置はそれぞれ独立に制御されることを特徴とする請求項6記載 の装置。 9.該ウエッブの構造要素の少なくとも若干を包み込むように該重合体組成 物を選択的に配置させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 10.該ウエッブの少なくとも一つの主要表面から一般的に離れた方向にウエ ッブを通って延びた区域の中に位置する該ウエッブの内部の内部層として該重合 体組成物を選択的に配置させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 11.該ウエッブの構造要素の少なくとも若干を包み込み、該ウエッブの少な くとも一つの主要表面から一般的に離れた方向にウエッブを通っ て延びた区域の中に位置する該ウエッブの内部に内部層をつくるために該重合体 組成物を選択的に配置させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 12.該剪断薄層化装置は互いに間隔を置いて配置され張力をかけられたウエ ッブの表面に押し付けられた2個またはそれ以上のナイフの刃から成っているこ とを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 13.該ナイフの刃の間の間隔を制御する装置を含んでいることを特徴とする 請求項12記載の装置。 14.該動いているウエッブに対する該ナイフの刃の角度を変化させる装置を 含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 15.該動いているウエッブに対する該ナイフの刃の力を制御するる装置を含 んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 16.該ナイフの刃に対する動いているウエッブの出口角を変化させる装置を 含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 17.該ナイフの刃に対する動いているウエッブの入り口角を変化させる装置 を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 18.該ナイフの刃に対する動いているウエッブの入り口角および出口角の両 方を変化させる装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 19.該動いているウエッブに対する該ナイフの刃のそれぞれの力を独立に制 御する装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項12記載の装置。 20.動いているウエッブから過剰の重合体を抜き取る装置を含んでいること を特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 21.多孔質のウエッブの内部で重合体組成物を硬化させる装置を含んでいる ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 22.該張力をかける装置は1対またはそれ以上の対のニップ/ロールを含ん でいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 際の厚さおよび配置を制御し、および/または重合体組成物の内部層の配置を制 御し、および/または包み込むための薄いフィルムおよび該内部層の中に1種ま たはそれ以上の添加剤を選択的に位置させる装置において、 処理区域の内部において多孔質のウエッブに張力をかける装置、 剪断をかけて薄層化し得る重合体組成物を張力をかけた動いているウエッブの 表面に被覆する装置、 重合体組成物を剪断をかけて薄層化してその粘度を実質的に減少させ、これを 張力をかけたウエッブの中に選択的に配置させて少なくとも若干の隙間空間は開 いたままの状態で残し、且つ該動いているウエッブと係合させるためそれに対し て横方向に取り付けられたかたいナイフの刃をもつ少なくとも1個の処理ヘッド を含んでいる装置、 該処理ヘッドを該処理区域の内部において選択的に位置させる装置、 および 該動いているウエッブに対し該ナイフの刃を垂直方向に且つ回転させて選択的 に位置させるための該処理ヘッドに取り付けられた装置を含んでいることを特徴 とする装置。 35.ナイフの刃は該動いているウエッブと接触した前進縁部を有し、該ナイ フの回転軸は該前進縁部と一致していることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置 。 36.該重合体を被覆する装置は 少なくとも1個のノズル、 動いているウエッブを横切ってノズルを横方向に往復運動させる装置、 重合体組成物の各材料を供給する装置、 該重合体組成物の材料を混合する装置、 該供給装置を該混合装置に連結し、該混合装置を該ノズルに連結する装置、お よび 各供給装置から所望の割合で重合体を該混合装置へ押し出す装置を含んでいる ことを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 37.該混合装置は該ノズルを動かすための該往復運動装置に取り付けられて いることを特徴とする請求項36記載の装置。 38.動いているウエッブに被覆する重合体組成物の量を測定する装置を含ん でいることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 39.該測定装置に応答して該押し出し装置からの流速を制御する装置を含ん でいることを特徴とする請求項38記載の装置。 40.少なくとも2個の処理ヘッドを含み、さらに該処理ヘッドの中間に位置 したニップ・スタンドを含み、該ニップ・スタンドはそれと処理区域の端との間 において動いているウエッブの張力を低下させる役目を果すことを特徴とする請 求項34記載の装置。 41.該張力をかける装置は 該第1の処理ヘッドと該ニップ・スタンドとの間にある第1のアイドラ・ロー ル、 制御する装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 44.該重合体を被覆する装置はウエッブに被覆する前に重合体組成物の粘度 を低下させる装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項43記載の装置。 45.動いているウエッブに被覆する重合体組成物の量を監視する装置、およ び 該監視装置に応答して該重合体を被覆する装置を制御する装置を含んでいるこ とを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 46.該処理区域の内部においてウエッブの張力を測定する装置、および 該張力測定装置に応答して該ナイフの刃を位置させる装置を制御する装置を含 んでいることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 47.該張力測定装置は、該ナイフの刃に対する該動いているウエッブの力を 測定しナイフの刃を横切るウエッブの平均張力に応答する信号を発生させる装置 を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 48.該剪断をかけて薄層化を行う装置は該処理区域の内部に取り付けられた 少なくとも2個の処理ヘッドを含み、該第2の処理ヘッドは該第1の処理ヘッド から間隔を置いて配置され、該動いているウエッブと係合してそこから重合体組 成物を抜き取るかたいナイフの刃を有してい ることを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 49.処理区域の前および後においてウエッブの微小多孔度を測定する装置、 および 該微小多孔度測定装置に応答して該剪断薄層化装置、該張力をかける装置、お よび該重合体を被覆する装置の一つまたはそれ以上を制御する装置を含んでいる ことを特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 50.処理区域の前および後においてウエッブの密度を測定する装置、および 該密度測定装置に応答して該剪断薄層化装置、該張力をかける装置、および該 重合体を被覆する装置の一つまたはそれ以上を制御する装置を含んでいることを 特徴とする請求項34記載の装置。 51.硬化した後にウエッブの未処理の側の元素を分析する装置、および 該元素分析装置に応答して該剪断薄層化装置、該張力をかける装置、および該 重合体を被覆する装置の一つまたはそれ以上を制御して該ウエッブの内部におけ る該内部層の配置を調節する装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項34記載 ナイフの刃を用いて重合体組成物に剪断をかけて薄層化して重合体組成物の粘度 を実質的に低下させ、これを張力をかけたウエッブの中に選択的に配置させ、隙 間空間の少なくとも若干は開いたままの状態で残し、 処理区域の内部の一つまたはそれ以上の場所における張力、該動いているウエ ッブに関する該ナイフの刃の位置、処理区域の前および後における動いているウ エッブの微小多孔度、該ウエッブの内部における重合体の内部層の配置、処理区 域の前および後におけるウエッブの密度、処理区域の前および後におけるウエッ ブの元素分析値、および動いているウエッブに被覆される重合体組成物の量から 成る群から選ばれる多数の パラメータを感知し、 感知したパラメータを予め決定された製品に対する予め設定されたパラメータ の範囲と比較し、 予め設定された範囲の外にあるパラメータを制御して予め決定された製品が予 め設定された範囲内のパラメータをもつようにすることを特徴とする方法。 62.多孔質のウエッブの内部で重合体組成物を硬化させることを含むことを 特徴とする請求項60記載の方法。 63.硬化の際動いているウエッブを支持し、該ウエッブに横方向または長手 方向の張力が実質的にかからないようにすることを特徴とする請求項62記載の 方法。 64.多数の構造要素を有しその間に隙間空間が存在する多孔質の動いている ウエッブの中への重合体組成物の配置を制御する方法において、 該処理区域の内部で動いている多孔質のウエッブに張力をかけ、 剪断をかけて薄層化し得る重合体組成物を張力をかけたウエッブの表面に被覆 し、 重合体組成物に剪断をかけて薄層化して重合体組成物の粘度を実質的に低下さ ウエッブの一つまたはそれ以上の張力、重合体組成物の剪断による薄層化、お よび重合体組成物の被覆を制御して処理されたウエッブを予め設定された測定値 の範囲に保つことを含むことを特徴とする請求項64記載の方法。 66.動いているウエッブに被覆する重合体の量を監視し、 該監視の値に応答して該ウエッブへの重合体の被覆を制御することを含むこと を特徴とする請求項64記載の方法。 67.処理区域の前および後でウエッブの密度を測定し、 この測定値を予め設定された測定値の範囲と比較し、 ウエッブの一つまたはそれ以上の張力、重合体組成物の剪断による薄層化、お よび重合体組成物の被覆を制御して処理されたウエッブを予め設定された測定値 の範囲に保つことを含むことを特徴とする請求項64記載の方法。 68.硬化後ウエッブの未処理の表面に存在する元素を分析し、 或る種の元素の分析値を該或る種の元素の値の予め設定された範囲と比較し、 ウエッブの一つまたはそれ以上の張力、重合体組成物の剪断による薄層化、お よび重合体組成物の被覆を制御して処理されたウエッブを予め設定された測定値 の範囲に保つことを含むことを特徴とする請求項64記載の方法。 69.該剪断による薄層化は該ウエッブの内部に重合体組成物の内部層をつく り、且つ 該ウエッブの内部における内部層の配置を測定し、 その測定値を予め設定された測定値の範囲と比較し、 ウエッブの一つまたはそれ以上の張力、重合体組成物の剪断による薄層化、お よび重合体組成物の被覆を制御して処理されたウエッブを予め設定された測定値 の範囲に保つことを含むことを特徴とする請求項64記載の方法。 70.処理区域の内部の一つまたはそれ以上の場所における張力、該動いてい るウエッブに関する該ナイフの刃の位置、処理区域の前および後における動いて いるウエッブの微小多孔度、該ウエッブの内部における重合体の内部層の配置、 処理区域の前および後におけるウエッブの密度、処理区域の前および後における ウエッブの元素分析値、および動いているウエッブに被覆される重合体組成物の 量から成る群から選ばれる多数のパラメータを感知し、 感知したパラメータを予め決定された製品に対する予め設定されたパラメータ の範囲と比較し、 予め設定された範囲外にあるパラメータを制御して予め決定された製品が予め 設定された範囲内のパラメータをもつようにすることを特徴とする請求項64記 載の方法。
