Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.白内障に冒された水晶体の核を液化し、これを吸引することによって生体内 の白内障を治療するための方法において、前記水晶体核を加熱によって液化する ことを特長とする方法。 2.前記水晶体核を約43.3OC乃至約101.7OC(約110OF乃至約215 OF)の温度まで加熱する、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記水晶体核と加熱流体とを接触させることによって、前記水晶体核を加熱 する、請求項1に記載の方法。 4.前記流体は生理食塩水である、請求項3に記載の方法。 5.白内障に冒された水晶体の核を液化し、これを周囲水晶体包内から吸引する ことによって生体内の白内障を治療するための方法において、 前記水晶体核を液化するため、前記水晶体核に加熱流体を直接送出する工程と 、 前記水晶体核を灌注する工程と、 前記水晶体核の灌注を続けながら前記液化した水晶体核を吸引する工程とを有 することを特長とする方法。 6.前記流体は生理食塩水である、請求項5に記載の方法。 7.前記水晶体包に開口部を形成する工程、前記加熱流体を前記開口部内に送出 する工程、及び前記液化した水晶体核を前記開口部外に吸引する工程を更に有す る、請求項5に記載の方法。 8.前記液化した水晶体核を冷却溶液で灌注し、前記水晶体核及び前記加熱流体 を迅速に冷却する、請求項5に記載の方法。 9.前記加熱流体の温度は、約43.3OC乃至約101.7OC(約110OF乃至 約215OF)である、請求項5に記載の方法。 10.白内障に冒された水晶体の硬化した水晶体核を液化し、これを周囲水晶体 包内から吸引することによって、白内障に冒された生体内の水晶体を治療するた めの方法において、 前記水晶体包に開口部を形成する工程と、 前記硬化した水晶体核を液化するため、前記開口部を通して加熱溶液を送出し 、 前記加熱溶液を前記硬化した水晶体核と接触させる工程と、 加熱溶液送出工程を実施しながら前記水晶体核を冷却溶液で灌注する工程と、 前記水晶体核の灌注を続けながら前記液化した水晶体核を吸引する工程と、 を有することを特長とする方法。 11.前記加熱溶液は平衡塩溶液からなる、請求項10に記載の方法。 12.水晶体の液化及び吸引を行うための水晶体用装置において、 前記水晶体の少なくとも一部を液化するため、前記水晶体に熱を加えるための 手段と、 前記水晶体に熱を加えながら前記水晶体の灌注を行うための手段と、 前記水晶体を灌注しながら前記水晶体の前記液化した部分を吸引するための手 段とを有することを特長とする装置。 13.前記熱を加えるための手段は、加熱溶液供給装置、及び前記水晶体を液化 するために前記水晶体に加熱溶液の供給を差し向けるための手段を含む、請求項 12に記載の水晶体用装置。 14.水晶体を液化し吸引するための水晶体用装置において、 第1端及び第2端を持つ中空ハンドピースと、 前記中空ハンドピースから延び、複数の貫通ポートが形成されたチップで終端 するカニューレと、 前記カニューレの前記チップ内の前記ポートのうちの異なるポートに端部が固 定された、前記カニューレ内に位置決めされた第1内腔、第2内腔、及び第3内 腔と、 前記カニューレの前記チップを通して前記第1内腔と関連した前記ポートを介 して加熱溶液を供給するため、前記カニューレ内の前記第1内腔に連結された第 1灌注チューブ手段と、 前記カニューレの前記チップを通して前記第2内腔と関連した前記ポートを介 して冷却溶液を供給するため、前記カニューレ内の前記第2内腔に連結された第 2灌注チューブ手段と、 前記カニューレの前記チップを通して前記第3内腔と関連した前記ポートを介 して液体を吸引するため、前記カニューレ内の前記第3内腔に連結された吸引チ ューブ手段とを有することを特長とする装置。 15.加熱流体源と、冷却流体源と、負圧源とを更に有し、前記第1灌注チュー ブ手段は、一端が前記カニューレの前記第1内腔に固定されており且つ反対端が 前記加熱流体源に固定された第1灌注チューブを含み、前記第2灌注チューブ手 段は、一端が前記カニューレの前記第2内腔に固定されており且つ反対端が前記 冷却流体源に固定された第2灌注チューブを含み、前記吸引チューブ手段は、一 端が前記カニューレの前記第3内腔に固定されており且つ反対端が前記負圧源に 固定された吸引チューブを含む、請求項14に記載の水晶体用装置。 16.生体内の白内障を治療するための方法において、水晶体核を加熱してこれ を透明化する工程を有することを特長とする方法。 17.前記水晶体核を約43.3OC乃至約101.7OC(約110OF乃至約21 5OF)の温度まで加熱する、請求項16に記載の方法。 18.前記水晶体核と加熱流体とを接触させることによって、前記水晶体核を加 熱する、請求項16に記載の方法。 19.前記流体は生理食塩水である、請求項18に記載の方法。 20.硬化した水晶体核を液化することによって、硬化した水晶体核を生体内で 治療するための方法において、前記水晶体核を加熱することによって前記水晶体 核を液化させる工程を有することを特長とする方法。 21.前記水晶体核を約43.3OC乃至約101.7OC(約110OF乃至約21 5OF)の温度まで加熱する、請求項20に記載の方法。 22.前記水晶体核と加熱流体とを接触させることによって、前記水晶体核を加 熱する、請求項20に記載の方法。 23.前記流体は生理食塩水である、請求項22に記載の方法。
