Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and facilitate the handling and prevent cold air from entering into the underside of a floor by shutting a vent hole in the winter at a cold district, by installing a shutter at the outside face of the vent hole to freely open/close the hole and installing this water drip material at the lower end edge of the external wall of a building. SOLUTION: This water drip material is made of a thin metallic plate or the like and a vent hole 15 is bored in the bottom wall 14 thereof. A shutter 20 is arranged at the outside face of the vent hole 15 so as to freely and rotatably open/close. The shutter 20 is composed of a belt-form shutter plate and a fitting metal tool. The fitting metal tool is provided with a shutter platesupport connected by hinges, a fitting leg, and a lock piece. The shutter 20 is made detachable against the water drip material 10 to facilitate the cleaning work and easily exchange the shutter when it has been broken. The fitting metal tool of the shutter 20 is made of an elastic metallic plate to easily fix the water drip material 10 at the vent hole 15 and retain the closed state in a simple structure. In this way, the manufacturing cost is reduced and the vent hole 15 can be freely opened/closed.
