Claims (1)
て着座者の頭部を後側から支承するヘッドレストを備え
た車両用シートのヘッドレスト装置であり、前記シート
バックに組付けられて同シートバックの頂部から上方へ
突出するステーと、同ステーに前後方向へ回動可能かつ
上下方向へ移動可能に組付けられたヘッドレストと、同
ヘッドレストと前記ステー間に配設されて同ステーに前
記ヘッドレストを解除可能に固定するロック機構を備
え、同ロック機構を、前記ステー側に設けられたロック
プレートと、前記ヘッドレスト側に設けられた掛止ピン
と、前記ステー側と前記ヘッドレスト側間に介装されて
同ヘッドレストを下方へ付勢するバネ部材により構成
し、前記ロックプレートには、前記掛止ピンが上方開口
部から進退する掛止溝部と、同掛止溝部の上方開口部の
縁部から後方または前方へ延びて前記掛止ピンを案内す
るガイド部を形成したことを特徴とする車両用シートの
ヘッドレスト装置。1. A headrest device for a vehicle seat comprising a headrest mounted on a top portion of a seatback and supporting the head of a seated occupant from the rear side while standing upright, said headrest device being mounted on said seatback. A stay protruding upward from the top of the seat back, a headrest attached to the stay so as to be rotatable in the front-rear direction and movable in the vertical direction, and disposed between the headrest and the stay; A lock mechanism for releasably fixing the headrest is provided, and the lock mechanism is interposed between a lock plate provided on the stay side, a locking pin provided on the headrest side, and the stay side and the headrest side. The headrest is constituted by a spring member that urges the headrest downward, and the lock plate has a locking groove in which the locking pin advances and retreats from an upper opening. If, headrest apparatus for a vehicle seat, characterized in that the formation of the guide portion for guiding the locking pin extending from the edge of the upper opening portion of the hook groove backward or forward.
