It is expected to be used for packaging materials and various containers. Further, it is particularly promising as a container material for a microwave oven or a retort food requiring heat resistance. In the case of a polycarbonate resin foam, there are many advantages as described above. However, since the flow starting point of the polycarbonate resin is significantly higher than that of polystyrene or the like, the melt viscosity is low, and the elongation of the heating sheet is small, so that ordinary extrusion foaming is performed. It is difficult to obtain the desired foam by the method.

By applying the method, the inventors found that the heat formability was improved, and filed an application (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-174780). Incidentally, the extruded polycarbonate resin foam has a surface specific resistance of 1
× 10 16 Ω, which has the property of easily charging static electricity. In recent years, as the field of application of polycarbonate resin extruded foam has expanded, depending on the application, electrostatic charging of the foam has become a major problem, and the need to impart antistatic performance and conductive performance to the foam has arisen. I have. However, for imparting antistatic performance and conductive performance to the extruded polycarbonate resin foam, the extrusion temperature of the polycarbonate resin is around 200 ° C., which is higher than the extrusion temperature of general-purpose resin foams such as polystyrene and polyolefin. Degradation of the antistatic agent due to degradation of the function, addition of the antistatic agent and the like, degradation of physical properties due to decomposition of the polycarbonate resin, addition of the antistatic agent and the conductivity-imparting agent to foamability, and secondary processing such as thermoforming. There are problems such as adverse effects, manifestation of the antistatic performance of the obtained foam, and manifestation and sustainability of the conductive performance, and a polycarbonate resin extruded foam having good antistatic performance and conductive performance has not yet been obtained.

The production of this foam includes the following steps. A step of charging a resin and additives such as an air bubble adjuster in an extruder, heating, melting and kneading in the extruder. Pressing a desired amount of a foaming agent into the kneaded material, kneading the foaming agent into the kneaded material, and foaming melt. The process of obtaining a foamed melt is extruded at a predetermined temperature from a circular die at the tip of the extruder into a low-pressure part in a cylindrical shape, and the resultant is taken on the surface of a cylindrical resin foam cooling device (mandrel). After forming a cylindrical foam, a step of cutting open in the extrusion direction to form a sheet or plate-like foam, and instead of the above-described steps, a foamable melt is formed at a predetermined temperature from a circular die at the tip of the extruder. A step of extruding into a low-pressure part in a tubular shape and sandwiching the roll between rolls to fuse the inner surface of the tubular foam to form a plate-like foam can be employed.

If only a foaming agent is used, it is difficult to obtain a foam having a high expansion ratio. Therefore, it is preferable to use a volatile foaming agent. or,
As the inorganic foaming agent, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and the like are used. Volatile blowing agents include propane, n-butane, i
-Lower aliphatic hydrocarbons such as butane, n-pentane, i-pentane and hexane; lower alicyclic hydrocarbons such as cyclobutane and cyclopentane; lower aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene and xylene; methanol, ethanol and the like Aliphatic lower monohydric alcohols; lower aliphatic ketones such as acetone and methyl ethyl ketone; 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane, pentafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2
-A low boiling halogenated hydrocarbon such as tetrafluoroethane and 1,1-difluoroethane is used. The blowing agents described above can be used alone or in combination of two or more. For example, different types of blowing agents such as an inorganic blowing agent and a volatile blowing agent can be used in combination. Further, a decomposable foaming agent can be used in combination for adjusting the bubble diameter.

Since the density of the foam is determined by the expansion ratio, the amount of the foaming agent mainly determined by the desired density of the foam is determined. I can say. The density of the foam used in the present invention is 0.03 to 0.6 g / cm 3 , preferably 0.06 to 0.24 g / cm 3 , and a foaming agent may be used so as to fall within this range. . The foam density is 0.
If it is less than 03 g / cm 3 , the strength of the molded product is too small,
When the density exceeds 0.6 g / cm 3 , the production cost increases as well as the heat insulation decreases and the weight increases. The density of the foam is 0.
It is preferable to be 06~0.24g / cm 3, 0.5~10 parts by weight of foam agent weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin volatile blowing agent required therefor (when using butane),
In the case of an inorganic foaming agent, the amount is about 0.2 to 3.0 parts by weight (when carbon dioxide is used).

In this case, as the cell regulator, inorganic powders such as talc and silica, acidic salts of polyvalent carboxylic acids, and mixtures of polyvalent carboxylic acids with sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate are preferable. The addition amount is 0.01 to 5.0 parts by weight, preferably 0.05 to 5.0 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin.
0.5 parts by weight is preferable. If the amount is less than 0.01 part by weight, it is practically difficult to foam the polycarbonate resin, while if it is more than 5.0 parts by weight, the physical properties of the obtained foamed molded article are undesirably reduced.

What is manufactured from the same raw materials as the polycarbonate resin constituting the foam is used. The viscosity average molecular weight of the polycarbonate resin used for forming the film, particularly the polycarbonate resin for the surface layer film to be laminated by the co-extrusion method, is preferably 20,000 to 35,000. If it is 35,000 or more, the fluidity is poor for coextrusion or extrusion lamination, and the thickness of the resulting foam / film laminate tends to be uneven. On the other hand, if it is less than 20,000, the surface condition of the laminate may be poor and the smoothness may be insufficient. The viscosity average molecular weight of the polycarbonate resin in the present invention is the following viscosity equation given by Schnell:

The thickness is preferably 0 μm, particularly preferably 50 to 200 μm. When the thickness of the surface film layer is less than 20 μm, pinholes are generated, or thickness unevenness occurs due to surging (subtle fluctuation of discharge), and it is difficult to obtain a stable film layer. At the time, when laminated on a foam having a low closed cell rate, there is a problem that holes are formed during vacuum forming. On the other hand, if it exceeds 500 μm, the foam has poor secondary workability. The size of the foam / film laminate is not particularly limited, but in the case of a sheet-like or plate-like foam, the overall thickness is 0.5 mm to 10 m.
The range of m is preferable, and the range of 1 mm to 5 mm is more preferable. The thickness of the foam / film laminate is 0.5 mm
If it is thinner, the molded product has no strength. If it exceeds 10 mm, it is necessary to use a powerful far-infrared heater etc. to heat the inside of the laminated foam evenly when heating in mold molding. is there.
