As the magnesium salt, an inorganic magnesium salt having high solubility such as magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate is preferable, but magnesium hydroxide can also be used. (That is, in this specification, the magnesium salt includes not only a compound of an acid and a base but also magnesium hydroxide.) Since magnesium hydroxide has low solubility, magnesium hydroxide is added as a magnesium source. When performing, the molar ratio (Mg 2+ / P
It is preferable that the added amount of O 4 3- ) be 5 times or more, especially 6 times or more.

When the phosphorus-containing water to be treated contains a large amount of ammonium salts or ammonia, such as in an anaerobic digestion / desorption solution, the total amount of the ammonium source and the ammonium component in the phosphorus-containing water is reduced to the phosphorus concentration. On the other hand, the molar ratio may be three times or more. If the concentration of the ammonium salt or the like in the phosphorus-containing water is three times or more in molar ratio with respect to the phosphorus concentration, the ammonium source need not be added.

The pH is preferably 8 to 9.5, particularly preferably 8 to 9.5.
Usually, an alkaline agent such as NaOH is added to the reaction tower to adjust the pH to the above range. However, when the above pH range is achieved by adding ammonium hydroxide as an ammonium source, it is necessary to add an alkaline agent such as NaOH. There is no. When the pH of the reaction zone in the reaction tower is in the above range, the pH of the treated water in the upper part of the reaction tower is also in the above range, so that the detection pH of the pH meter provided in the upper part of the reaction tower is in the above range. good.

In the MAP precipitation process, if the phosphorus concentration of the raw water is excessively high, the supersaturation degree of the MAP becomes excessively high in the reaction tower 1 so that the fine crystals of the MAP self-precipitate in a liquid other than the seed crystal surface. , there is a problem that large of MAP particles can not be obtained, in this dephosphorization device, by circulating withdrawn from the reaction tower 1 treated water pipe from the upper portion of the 7 and the pump P 2, the reaction tower 1 Can reduce the phosphorus concentration in the MAP precipitation reaction section. Thereby, the degree of supersaturation of the MAP in the reaction tower 1 is reduced, and the MAP does not self-precipitate as microcrystals, but is mostly a seed crystal MA.
It precipitates only on the surface of P particles and promotes the growth of MAP particles. The circulation of the treated water is preferably performed such that the phosphorus concentration in the MAP precipitation reaction section in the reaction tower 1 becomes 100 mg / L or less, particularly 40 to 80 mg / L.

1. A method for removing phosphorus by introducing phosphorus-containing water into a reaction column and maintaining the pH within a predetermined range in the presence of a magnesium salt and an ammonium salt, wherein the molar ratio of the phosphorus to the phosphorus is three times. A method for removing phosphorus, comprising coexisting the above magnesium salt and an ammonium salt at a molar ratio of 3 times or more with respect to phosphorus.
