BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The resin composition for coating a backing plate of the present invention contains a thermosetting resin and polymer fine particles having a glass transition point of 20 ° C. or lower. The fact that the glass transition point of the polymer fine particles is 20 ° C. or lower means that the polymer particles are relatively soft, and the toughness of the thermosetting resin after three-dimensional curing can be improved. The glass transition point of the polymer fine particles is preferably 20 ° C. or lower, more preferably 0 ° C. or lower. If the glass transition point exceeds 20 ° C., the fine polymer particles themselves become hard, and the effect of improving the toughness in the cured product is reduced.

When the polymer fine particles are in the form of fine particles, the polymer fine particles can be uniformly dispersed throughout the resin composition with a relatively small amount, and the effect of improving the toughness can be exhibited.
The average particle size of the polymer fine particles is preferably 100 μm or less, more preferably 0.1 to 50 μm, and still more preferably 0.2 to 20 μm. Since the polymer phase having a low glass transition point is unevenly distributed in the resin composition as the average particle size increases, the glass transition point of the resin composition as a whole decreases and the mechanical strength is lost, or the toughness is improved. Is not preferred because the amount of addition increases. on the other hand,
When the average particle size is smaller than 0.1 μm, the viscosity of the resin composition may be excessively increased, and the workability of the coating work may be reduced. Further, the maximum particle size of the polymer fine particles is preferably 1 mm or less, more preferably 500 μm or less. When the maximum particle size of the polymer fine particles exceeds the above range, a discontinuous phase without any resin is formed after coating, and rainwater or the like permeates therefrom, and the adhesion between the coating layer and the substrate is lowered, which is not preferable. .

It is preferable that a crosslinked structure is introduced into the polymer fine particles. When a polymerizable monomer is contained in the resin composition and the crosslinked structure is not introduced into the polymer fine particles, the fine particles dissolve in the monomer and the resin composition is cured without the presence of a domain having a low glass transition point. Therefore, the effect of adding the polymer fine particles may be lost. If a crosslinked structure is introduced into the polymer particles, the dissolution of the polymer particles in the resin can be prevented,
There is no such problem as described above.

In order to introduce a crosslinked structure into polymer fine particles, a polyfunctional (meth) acrylic ester which is an ester of a polyhydroxy compound such as glycol, trimethylolpropane, pentaerythritol and (meth) acrylic acid, ) Allyl acrylate, divinylbenzene,
A method of copolymerizing a polyfunctional monomer such as diallyl phthalate with a monomer for constituting the above (meth) acrylate polymer, an epoxy group-containing monomer such as glycidyl (meth) acrylate, (meth) acryloylaziridine, A monomer having reactivity with an acid group such as an aziridinyl group-containing monomer such as (meth) acryloyloxyethylaziridine or an oxazolinyl group-containing monomer such as 2-isopropenyl-2-oxazoline is used as an unsaturated carboxylic acid or unsaturated sulfonic acid. And the like, and a method of causing a cross-linking reaction with an acid group in the polymer fine particles by copolymerization with the above can be adopted. In addition, it is preferable to copolymerize a monomer having reactivity with an acid group in order to increase the toughness improving effect. Since a monomer having reactivity with an acid group has a function of giving a reactivity with a polymer emulsifier to be described later to the polymer fine particles, the interfacial bonding force between the thermosetting resin and the polymer fine particles increases. In order to ensure the reactivity between the polymer emulsifier and the polymer fine particles, when the acid group in the polymer fine particles is subjected to a cross-linking reaction, the functional group of the monomer having reactivity with the acid group is equivalent to the acid group in the acid group-containing monomer. It is preferable to appropriately adjust the amount to be used as described above.

Methods for obtaining polymer fine particles include emulsion polymerization, suspension polymerization, reversed-phase suspension polymerization, precipitation polymerization and the like. As described later, thermosetting resins and / or
Alternatively, since it is preferable to add the polymer fine particles as an emulsion to the raw material in producing the resin composition of the present invention, it is most preferable to employ emulsion polymerization that can obtain the polymer fine particles in an emulsion. Although it is possible to produce only the polymer by another polymerization method and then to stir and disperse it in an aqueous medium to form an emulsion, the process becomes complicated. Emulsion polymerization also has the advantage that polymer fine particles having an average particle size of 100 μm or less can be easily obtained. The emulsion polymerization method is not particularly limited, and any of a batch polymerization method, a monomer dropping method, a pre-emulsion method, a seed polymerization method, a multi-stage polymerization method (core-shell), and the like can be employed.

By using this polymer emulsifier, the dispersibility of the emulsion of polymer fine particles in the thermosetting resin is improved, and foaming is reduced during the dehydration step described later. Further, as a constituent monomer of the polymer fine particles, an epoxy group-containing monomer such as glycidyl (meth) acrylate, which can react with a carboxyl group in the polymer emulsifier, (meth) acryloyl aziridine, (meth) acryloyloxyethyl aziridine, When an aziridinyl group-containing monomer or an oxazolinyl group-containing monomer such as 2-isopropenyl-2-oxazoline is partially used, the polymer fine particles and the emulsifier can be chemically bonded, so that the resin composition of the present invention was cured. Later, adverse effects such as poor moisture resistance and poor chemical resistance caused by the low molecular emulsifier can be prevented as much as possible.

The polymer fine particles having a glass transition point of 20 ° C. or lower may be contained in the resin composition for covering a lining plate in a single form, or may be integrated with a polymer phase having a glass transition point of higher than 20 ° C. It may be contained in the form of a compound. In the integrated product, the portion having a glass transition point of 20 ° C. or lower is preferably 50% by weight or more, more preferably 80% by weight or more. If it is less than 50% by weight, the effect of improving the toughness due to the blending of the polymer fine particles is undesirably reduced.

In the present invention, the glass transition point is 20 ° C.
Along with the following polymer fine particles, polymer fine particles having a glass transition point exceeding 20 ° C. may be used in combination within a range not to impair the effects of the present invention. As the preferred compounding ratio of the polymer fine particles in the resin composition for covering a lining plate of the present invention,
The polymer fine particles are 1 to 100 parts by weight of the thermosetting resin.
It is in the range of 100 parts by weight, more preferably 1 to 50 parts by weight, further preferably 2 to 20 parts by weight, particularly preferably 5 to 7 parts by weight. When the amount of the polymer fine particles is too small, the effect of the present invention is hardly obtained, and when the amount is too large, not only is it not economical, but also the amount of the thermosetting resin is relatively reduced, and the glass as the resin composition as a whole is It is not preferable because the transition point is lowered and the mechanical strength is lost.

As the thermosetting resin used in the resin composition for covering a backing plate of the present invention, an epoxy resin, a polyurethane resin, or the like can be used, but unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, urethane ( It is preferable to use a radical-curable thermosetting resin such as a (meth) acrylate resin and an ester (meth) acrylate resin. Since these resins are liquid resins obtained by diluting a radical polymerizable unsaturated group-containing oligomer with a radical polymerizable monomer, they are fast-curing, have excellent workability during construction, and have an epoxy resin, a polyurethane resin. This is because they have excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance performance equal to or higher than that of a resin or the like.

In the present invention, the glass transition temperature of the thermosetting resin after curing is preferably 60 ° C. or more,
It is more preferable that the temperature is 0 ° C. or higher. Glass transition point is 6
A thermosetting resin having a temperature lower than 0 ° C. is inferior in mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, abrasion resistance and the like of the cured product.
The method for producing the resin composition for covering a lining plate of the present invention is not particularly limited, but the emulsion of the polymer fine particles may be added to the thermosetting resin and / or its raw material at any stage in the production process of the thermosetting resin. A method of adding and then dehydrating is preferred. A method of obtaining polymer fine powder and mixing it with a thermosetting resin or a raw material thereof is also possible, but the steps are complicated because a means for preventing aggregation is required. In other words, according to a method in which an emulsion of polymer fine particles is added to a thermosetting resin and / or a raw material thereof at an optional stage in the process of manufacturing the thermosetting resin and then dehydrated, water is scattered at room temperature. Even polymer particles having a low glass transition point, which has a disadvantage that particles adhere to each other, can be uniformly dispersed in a thermosetting resin. When the thermosetting resin is of a radical curing type, the polymerization reactivity (double bond) can be ensured. During the dispersing process,
The thermosetting resin and / or the raw material are heated to a low viscosity, and an emulsion of polymer fine particles is added thereto and stirred, so that O / W / O (oil in water) is obtained.
In oil) state, that is, the emulsion droplets are uniformly dispersed in the continuous phase of the thermosetting resin and / or the raw material thereof, and the polymer fine particles are uniformly dispersed in the emulsion droplets. Therefore, after the dehydration step, a resin composition in which the polymer fine particles are uniformly dispersed in the thermosetting resin can be obtained.

The resin composition for coating a backing plate of the present invention contains, in addition to the thermosetting resin and the polymer fine particles, a curing agent, a curing accelerator, a filler, an ultraviolet absorber, a pigment, a thickener, Various additives such as an agent, an antioxidant, a plasticizer, a flame retardant, a stabilizer, and a reinforcing agent may be contained. The amount of these additives used is not particularly limited. The composition for coating a lining plate of the present invention is for fixing an aggregate to the surface of a lining plate. As the aggregate used in the present invention, known materials such as silica sand, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, silica, river sand, and silica powder can be used. Among these, silica sand and silica powder are particularly preferred. One of these aggregates may be used alone, or two or more of them may be used as a mixture. Since the thickness of the resin composition for covering a lining plate is usually about 2 to 10 mm, the particle size of the aggregate is preferably about 1 to 5 mm in order to form an appropriate uneven shape on the surface of the coating film. . The amount of the aggregate is 20 per 100 parts by weight of the resin.
It is about 0 to 500 parts by weight.

The method for coating the surface of the lining plate with the aggregate using the resin composition for coating a lining plate of the present invention is not particularly limited. For example, on a coating film obtained by applying a resin composition for covering a lining plate, or by hand using a scoop or the like, or excessively spread aggregate using a machine such as a spreader,
Subsequently, a method of recovering excess aggregate after the coating is cured, a method of kneading the aggregate with a resin composition for covering a lining board in advance, and applying and curing the composition are exemplified. The above method is preferable because the non-slip effect is greater when the surface of the aggregate is not wetted by the resin.

As shown in Table 1, each of the resin compositions for coating the backing plate of the examples has a high breaking strength, and since the broken portion is at the interface of the adhesive or the coating material / adhesive, the toughness is high and the mechanical strength is high. It can be seen that the mechanical durability is excellent. On the other hand, each of the resin compositions for coating the backing plate of Comparative Examples 2 to 6 does not contain fine polymer particles, and thus has a low breaking strength. It turns out that it is low and is inferior to mechanical durability. Although the resin composition for covering a lining plate of Comparative Example 1 contains fine polymer particles, its glass transition point is as high as 81 ° C., so that the effect of improving toughness is hardly observed. [Example 7] The vinyl ester resin composition VE-1 for covering a lining plate prepared in Example 1 was added to 4 kg, 20 g of cobalt octenoate as an accelerator, and 328E as a curing agent.
60 g (manufactured by Kayaku Akzo) was added and mixed well.
