Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject granule capable of providing stable controlling effects without adsorbing an agrochemically active ingredient on a carrier after spraying thereof on a paddy field or a farmland by including ammonium sulfate and/or potassium chloride, the agrochemically active ingredient and a specific dextrin therein. SOLUTION: This agrochemical granule is obtained by a method for including (A) preferably powdery ammonium sulfate and/or potassium chloride, (B) an agrochemically active ingredient (e.g. CYAP) and (C) a dextrin having <=30 polymerization degree (preferably maltodextrin), as necessary, adding a surfactant such as a nonionic surfactant (e.g. an alkyl ether) thereto, sufficiently mixing the resultant mixture, providing a powdery raw material composition, adding an adequate amount of water thereto, sufficiently kneading the prepared mixture with a twin-arm kneader, then granulating the obtained kneaded material with a bucket type extrusion granulator, etc., further grading and drying the resultant granule, etc. The amounts of the added ingredients based on the whole granule are preferably 10-95 wt.% ingredient A, 0.1-50 wt.% ingredient B and 5-10 wt.% ingredient C.

2. Description of the Related Art Water-insoluble minerals such as clay, bentonite, talc, and calcium carbonate, which have been conventionally used as carriers for pesticide granules, often adsorb to the pesticide active ingredient, and the effect of the pesticide active ingredient is reduced. It is difficult to fully demonstrate.

[0009] Such water-soluble pesticide granules are useful when the pesticidal active ingredient is more effective in controlling the water when it floats on the water surface than at the bottom of a paddy field. However, in places where pesticide active ingredients are ubiquitous in a part of the paddy field together with the water-soluble carrier due to the effects of water flow, wind, etc., the concentration of the pesticide active ingredient may become abnormally high and harm rice plants. . In addition, in places where the pesticidal active ingredient is not unevenly distributed, there is a problem that the control effect is low. Therefore, the conventional water-soluble pesticide granules are not always satisfactory.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have made intensive studies to solve these problems. As a result, dextrin having a degree of polymerization of 30 or less (hereinafter, referred to as “low-polymerized dextrin”) and one or both of ammonium sulfate and potassium chloride are blended and mixed with the pesticidal active ingredient, and the mixture is mixed by a conventional method. The present inventors have found that a water-soluble pesticide granule obtained by granulation solves the above-mentioned problems and completed the present invention.

The water-soluble pesticide granules of the present invention are more easily disintegrated by water such as dew on the soil surface of the field, in the soil, or on the leaves than the conventional granules, and at the same time, the pesticidal active ingredient becomes a carrier. Since it is released without being adsorbed and a stable control effect is obtained, and there is no phytotoxicity to crops, it can be applied to the field.

Example 1 21 parts of a biphenox raw material, 10 parts of a low-polymerized dextrin (degree of polymerization: about 9 to 11) (trade name “Amicol No. 6H” of Nissen Chemical Co., Ltd.), ammonium sulfate (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.) ) 69 parts are mixed together by a hammer mill (manufactured by Fuji Paudal Co., Ltd.) to obtain a powdery raw material composition. This powdery raw material composition is put into a double-arm kneader (manufactured by Fuji Paudal Co., Ltd.), 6 parts of water is added, and the mixture is kneaded well. The resulting mixture was granulated, sized and dried to obtain a water-soluble pesticide granule.

Test Example 1 (Measurement of physical properties of water-soluble pesticide granule) 1000 ml of 450 ml (about 5 cm depth) of 3rd hard water was added.
About 15 mg of the granules prepared in accordance with Examples 1 and 2 and the granules were placed in a beaker having a capacity of ml, and the behavior from when the granules began to be submerged and dissolved until the particles were completely dissolved was confirmed.

Test Example 2 (Herbicidal Effect Test) On the whole surface of a paddy field where paddy was performed, seeds of barnyard grass, oak, and azalea were respectively 5 g, 0.5 g, and 0.1 g per 10 m 2 .
1 g was seeded. Four days after shaving, rice was transplanted with a transplanter, and after transplantation, a test plot of 49 m 2 (7 × 7 m) was established in one plot. At 7 days after transplantation (1.0-leaf stage) and 10 days after transplantation (1.5-leaf stage), the granules prepared in Examples 1-2 were placed in a test plot in a flooded state (flooding depth 3-5 cm). 3 kg was sprayed uniformly per 10a. For comparison, each of the granules prepared in Comparative Examples 1 to 4 and, as a control, commercially available bifenox granules were sprayed in the same manner.

Investigations were conducted 10 days after the treatment with respect to the phytotoxicity of rice (leaf sheath browning) and 30 days after the treatment with respect to the herbicidal effect at 5 points in each test plot shown in FIG. The chemical damage was calculated for each plant type, and the rice damage was measured by measuring the plant height and the number of stems per plant for each of the 10 plants at each survey point, and calculating the ratio (%) to the untreated plot. The degree of leaf sheath browning was investigated according to the following criteria. The wind direction and wind speed at the time of spraying the medicine were an average wind speed of about 3 m / s in the direction from the following investigation point at the time of spraying 7 days after transplantation, and an average wind speed of 4 m / s in the direction at the time of spraying 10 days after transplantation. The test was conducted in two groups in one section.
