Abstract

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 痙攣を起こさせずに認知を強化する方法であって、該治療を要する患者に 、GABAA α1及び/又はGABAAα2及び/又はGABAAα3受容体では受 容体アゴニストでも受容体逆アゴニストでもない、GABAAα5受容体逆アゴニ ストである化合物を、痙攣をおこさせずに認知を強化するのに十分有効な量投与 することを含む前記方法。 2. 認知の強化を要する患者がアルツハイマー病に罹患しているヒトである、 請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 認知強化化合物が、α5受容体に対してα1受容体の25倍以上選択的であ る、請求項2に記載の方法。 4. 認知強化化合物が、α5含有受容体に対してα1、α2及びα3含有受容体の 50倍以上選択的である、請求項2に記載の方法。 5. 認知強化化合物が、α5β3γ2受容体に対しては2以下、α1β3γ2受容体 に対しては20以上のKi(nM)値を有する、請求項2に記載の方法。 6. 認知強化化合物が、α2β3γ2受容体に対して20 以上のKi(nM)値を有する、請求項5に記載の方法。 7. 痙攣を起こさせずに患者の認知を強化するための薬剤の製造における、G ABAAα1及び/又はGABAAα2及び/又はGABAAα3では受容体アゴニ ストでも受容体逆アゴニストでもない、GABAAα5受容体逆アゴニストである 化合物の使用。 8. 患者がアルツハイマー病に罹患しているヒトである、請求項7に記載の使 用。 9. 請求項3から6のいずれか一項に記載の受容体結合特性を有する化合物の 請求項7又は8に記載の使用。 10. GABAAα1及び/又はGABAAα2及び/又はGABAAα3受容体で は受容体アゴニストでも受容体逆アゴニストでもない、GABAAα5受容体逆ア ゴニストである化合物及び医薬上許容し得る担体を含む医薬組成物。 11. 請求項3から6のいずれか一項に記載の特性を有する化合物を有効量含 む、アルツハイマー病の治療に適した、請求項10に記載の医薬組成物。 12. 痙攣を起こさせずに認知を高め得る化合物を検出する方法であって、G ABAA結合受容体を用いて、前記 化合物がα5逆アゴニストであって、α1及び/又はα2及び/又はα3ではアゴニ ストでも逆アゴニストでもないことを決定することを含む前記方法。 13. 該化合物が請求項3から6のいずれか一項に記載の特性を有する、請求 項12に記載の方法。 14. 請求項12又は13に記載の方法により検出された化合物及び医薬上許 容し得る担体を含む医薬組成物。 15. 経口投与用に適合されている、請求項10、11、13又は14に記載 の医薬組成物。 16. 請求項12に記載の方法で検出された化合物。
