Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.式 を有し、R1は−CH=CH−または(−CH2−)nであり、nは零または1乃 至8の整数であり、R2は18個以下の炭素原子を含む直鎖および枝分れアルキ ルおよびアルキルアリール基から選ばれることを特徴とするジフェノール化合物 を製造する方法であって、式 を有するヒドロキシフェニルカルボン酸を、式 を有するL−チロシンエステルと、水溶性尿素副生成物を形成することができる カルボジイミドを含有する水混和性有機反応溶媒においてカップリングさせるこ とによりジフェノール反応生成物を形成する工程と、 反応混合物を水不混和性有機相としてジフェノールを沈降させるのに有効な量 の水と組み合わせることにより、ジフェノール反応生成物を含む水不混和性有機 相を形成するとともに、反応副生成物と汚染物質とを実質上含む水混和性の相を 形成する工程とを備える方法。 2.R1は(−CH2−)nであり、nは零または1乃至3の整数であることを特 徴 とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.R1は−CH2−CH2−であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の 方法。 4.R2はエチル、ブチル、ヘキシル、オクチルおよびベンジル基よりなる群か ら選ばれることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5.R2はエチル基であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。 6.前記カルボジイミドはEDCHCl、1−アルキル−3−(3−ジメチルア ミノプロピル)カルボジイミド(アルキル=イソプロピル、シクロヘキシル)、 1−シクロヘキシル−3−(2−モルホリニル−(4)−エチル)カルボジイミ ド、1−シクロヘキシル−3−(4−ジエチルアミノシクロヘキシル)カルボジ イミド、1−シクロヘキシル−3−(B−ジエチルアミノエチル)カルボジイミ ド、1,3−ジ−(4−ジエチルアミノシクロヘキシル)カルボジイミド、1− アルキル−3−(3−モルホリニル−(4)−プロピル)カルボジイミド(アル キル=メチル、エチル)、1−ベンジル−3−(3−ジメチルアミノ−(N)− プロピル)カルボジイミド、1−エチル−3−(4−アゾニア−4,4−ジメチ ルフェニル)カルボジイミドよりなる群から選ばれ、、いずれの場合も、自由塩 基または塩(HCl、メチオジド、メトp−トルエンスルホネート)としてであ ることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.前記カルボジイミドはEDCHClであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第6 項に記載の方法。 8.前記反応溶媒はTHF、ジオキサン、ジメトキシエタン、アセトン、N−メ チルピロリジノン、アセトニトリルよりなる群から選ばれることを特徴とする請 求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9.前記溶媒はTHFであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。 10.前記水不混和性有機相を前記水混和性反応溶媒から分離する工程を備える ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 11.前記ジフェノール反応生成物を前記水不混和性有機相から沈降させる工程 を備えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項に記載の方法。 12.前記水不混和性有機相を分離する前記工程は前記水不混和性有機相を塩化 メチレン、クロロホルムまたは酢酸エチルよりなる群から選ばれる溶媒に抽出す る工程に特徴があることを特徴とする請求の範囲第10項に記載の方法。 13.前記溶媒はDTEに関しては酢酸エチルであり、他のモノマの全てに関し ては塩化メチレンであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。 14.前記抽出された水不混和性有機相を水性抽出媒体で逆洗することを特徴と する請求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。 15.前記水性抽出媒体は酸性であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に記 載の方法。 16.前記水性抽出媒体は緩塩基であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第14項に 記載の方法。 17.前記ジフェノール反応生成物を前記水不混和性有機相から沈降させる工程 を備えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。 18.前記水性抽出媒体を水不混和性有機相抽出溶媒で逆洗する工程と、 前記水不混和性有機溶媒相を組み合わせる工程と、 前記ジフェノール反応生成物を前記組み合わされた水不混和性有機溶媒相から 沈降させる工程とを備えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載の方法。 19.式 を有するL−チロシン誘導ジフェノール化合物であって、R1は−CH=CH− 、−CH2−および(−CH2−)nよりなる群から選ばれ、、nは零、1または 3乃至8の整数であり、R2は18個以下の炭素原子を含む直鎖および枝分れア ルキルおよびアルキルアリール基よりなる群から選ばれることを特徴とするジフ ェノール化合物。 20.R1は−CH2−であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第19項に記載のジフ ェノール。 21.R1は(−CH2−)nであり、nは零または3であることを特徴とする請 求の範囲第19項に記載のジフェノール。 22.R2はエチル、ブチル、ヘキシル、オクチルおよびベンジル基よりなる群 から選ばれることを特徴とする請求の範囲第19項に記載のジフェノール化合物 。 23.R2はエチル基であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第22項に記載のジフ ェノール化合物。 24.請求の範囲第19項のジフェノール化合物から重合されるポリカーボネー ト。 25.請求の範囲第19項のジフェノール化合物から重合されるポリアリーレー ト。
