Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.顧客アクセス制御部を具備するビデオ信号アクセス制御システムにおいて 、この顧客アクセス制御部は、 遠隔信号源から少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を受信するための信号入力手段、 この信号入力手段からビデオ信号を受信するように動作可能に接続されたビデ オ信号プロセッサ、 このビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続された条件付きアクセス機構、 前記ビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続され、前記条件付きアクセス機構 が前記遠隔信号源からの1以上のビデオ信号に対するアクセスを許可するときに のみ、使用可能なビデオ出力信号を提供する信号出力手段、並びに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、前記条件付きアクセ ス機構に動作可能に接続されたGPS信号受信機 を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、許可された方位にある顧客アクセス制御部に一 致する信号を前記GPS信号受信機が受信した場合にのみ、アクセスを許可する ことを特徴とするビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 2.前記条件付きアクセス機構は、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方 位にある顧客アクセス制御部に一致する信号をGPS信号受信機が受信した場合 にのみ、アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アク セス制御 システム。 3.前記条件付きアクセス機構は、顧客アクセス制御部の方位に関する情報に 加えて許可についてテストを行うための判定基準を用い、アクセスを許可するこ とを特徴とする請求項2に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 4.前記顧客アクセス制御部は非伝送ユニットであることを特徴とする請求項 3に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 5.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機及び条件付きアクセス機構 を使用して、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある前記顧客アクセ ス制御部に一致するレンジ検証を行うようにすると共に、この検証には前記顧客 アクセス制御部の方位が当該顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定することを伴わな いことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 6.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機を使用して、この顧客アク セス制御部の方位を決定するようにし、かつ、前記条件付きアクセス機構は、決 定された方位がサービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある場合にのみ、 アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御 システム。 7.前記顧客アクセス制御部は非伝送ユニットであることを特徴とする請求項 1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 8.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機及び条件付きアクセス機構 を使用して、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある前記顧客アクセ ス制御部に一致するレンジ検証を行うようにすると共に、この検証には前記顧客 アクセス制御部の方位が当該顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定することを伴わな いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 9.前記顧客アクセス制御部のGPS受信機は単一チャネル受信機であること を特徴とする請求項8に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 10.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機を使用して、この顧客アク セス制御部の方位を決定するようにし、かつ、前記条件付きアクセス機構は、決 定された方位がサービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある場合にのみ、 アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御 システム。 11.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ、及び、 遠隔信号源からの少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を搬送する伝送媒体から受信さ れる間接GPS信号を提供するように前記信号入力手段に動作可能に接続された デコーダ を備え、 前記GPSプロセッサは、前記間接GPS信号からの情報を 用いて、どのGPS源が前記顧客アクセス制御部により使用されるべきであるか を決定し、さらに、 前記GPSプロセッサは、決定されたGPS源の方位を決定する ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 12.さらに、顧客から遠く離れた中央アクセス制御部を具備し、この中央アク セス制御部は、 少なくとも1つのビデオ信号をもつ信号源、 この信号源からのビデオ信号を、顧客アクセス制御部をもつ顧客への伝送のた めの伝送媒体上に、載せるための出力装置、 及び、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、データメッセージを 前記出力装置に供給するように動作可能に接続された中央GPS受信機 を備え、 このデータメッセージは位置情報に対応し、前記出力装置はこの位置情報を顧 客への伝送のための前記伝送媒体に供給する ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 13.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、少なくとも擬似ランダムであ る計測開始時間にて前記GPSプロセッサからの計測値を要求する ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 14.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPSプロセッサ及び前記条件付きアク セス機構を集積回路或いはスマートカードから成るグループから選択された共通 の封止容器の内部に備え、さらに、 この共通の封止容器は、その内部に、得られるべきデータが存在しているGP S源を選択するためのコードを発生するように動作可能なコード発生器を備える ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 15.さらに、顧客から遠く離れた中央アクセス制御部を具備し、この中央アク セス制御部は、 少なくとも1つのビデオ信号をもつ信号源、及び、 この信号源からのビデオ信号を顧客への伝送のための伝送媒体上に載せるため の出力装置 を備え、 顧客に送られるビデオ信号は、キーなしでは使用不能である ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 16.前記中央アクセス制御部は、さらに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、デ ータメッセージを前記出力装置に供給するように動作可能に接続された中央GP S受信機 を備え、 このデータメッセージは位置情報に対応し、前記出力装置はこの位置情報を顧 客への伝送のための前記伝送媒体に供給する ことを特徴とする請求項15に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 17.顧客アクセス制御部を具備するビデオ信号アクセス制御システムにおいて 、この顧客アクセス制御部は、 少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を受信するための信号入力手段、 前記信号入力手段からビデオ信号を受信するように動作可能に接続されたされ たビデオ信号プロセッサ、 このビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続された条件付きアクセス機構、 前記ビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続され、前記条件付きアクセス機構 が遠隔信号源からの1以上のビデオ信号へのアクセスを許可するときにのみ、使 用可能なビデオ出力信号を提供する信号出力手段、並びに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、前記条件付きアクセ ス機構に動作可能に接続されたGPS信号受信機 を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、前記顧客アクセス制御部が許可された方位にあ ることを示す信号を前記GPS信号受信機が受信した場合にのみ、アクセスを許 可し、さらに、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、サービスのために許可された 単一の固定方位にある前記顧客アクセス制御部に一致する信号を前記GPS信号 受信機が受信した場合にのみ、アクセスを許可する ことを特徴とするビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 18.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機及び条件付きアクセス機構 を使用して、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある前記顧客アクセ ス制御部に一致するレンジ検証を行うようにすると共に、この検証には前記顧客 アクセス制御部の方位が当該顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定することを伴わな いことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 19.前記顧客アクセス制御部のGPS受信機は単一チャネル受信機であること を特徴とする請求項17に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 20.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機を使用して、この顧客アク セス制御部の方位を決定するようにし、かつ、前記条件付きアクセス機構は、決 定された方位がサービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある場合にのみ、 アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項17に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制 御システム。 21.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ、及び、 遠隔信号源からの少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を搬送する伝送媒体から受信さ れる間接GPS信号を提供するように前記信号入力手段に動作可能に接続された デコーダ を備え、 前記GPSプロセッサは、前記間接GPS信号からの情報を用いて、どのGP S源が前記顧客アクセス制御部により使用されるべきであるかを決定し、さらに 、 前記GPSプロセッサは、決定されたGPS源の方位を決定する ことを特徴とする請求項17に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 22.顧客アクセス制御部を具備するビデオ信号アクセス制御システムにおいて 、この顧客アクセス制御部は、 少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を受信するための信号入力手段、 この信号入力手段からビデオ信号を受信するように動作可能に接続されたされ たビデオ信号プロセッサ、 このビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続された条件付きアクセス機構、 前記ビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続され、前記条件付きアクセス機構 が遠隔信号源からの1以上のビデオ信号へのアクセスを許可するときにのみ、使 用可能なビデオ出力信号を提供する信号出力手段、並びに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、前記からの1以上の ビデオ信号へのアクセスを許可するときにのみ、使用可能なビデオ出力信号を提 供する信号出力手段、並びに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、前記条件付きアクセ ス機構に動作可能に接続されたGPS信号受信機 を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、前記顧客アクセス制御部が許可された位置にあ ることを示す信号を受信した場合にのみ、アクセスを許可し、さらに、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、前記顧客アクセス制御部の方位に関する情報に 加えて許可についてテストを行うための判定基準を用いる ことを特徴とするビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 23.前記条件付きアクセス機構は、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方 位にある顧客アクセス制御部に一致する信号をGPS信号受信機が受信した場合 にのみ、アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項22に記載のビデオ信号ア クセス制御システム。 24.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機及び条件付きアクセス機構 を使用して、サービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある前記顧客アクセ ス制御部に一致するレンジ検証を行うようにすると共に、この検証には前記顧客 アクセス制御部の方位が当該顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定することを伴わな いことを特徴とする請求項22に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 25.前記顧客アクセス制御部のGPS受信機は単一チャネル 受信機であり、前記顧客アクセス制御部は非伝送ユニットであることを特徴とす る請求項24に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 26.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機を使用して、この顧客アク セス制御部の方位を決定するようにし、かつ、前記条件付きアクセス機構は、決 定された方位がサービスのために許可された単一の固定方位にある場合にのみ、 アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項22に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制 御システム。 27.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ、及び、 遠隔信号源からの少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を搬送する伝送媒体から受信さ れる間接GPS信号を提供するように前記信号入力手段に動作可能に接続された デコーダ を備え、 前記GPSプロセッサは、前記間接GPS信号からの情報を用いて、どのGP S源が前記顧客アクセス制御部により使用されるべきであるかを決定すると共に 、決定されたGPS源の方位を決定する ことを特徴とする請求項22に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 28.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可 能に接続されたGPSプロセッサ を備え、 アクセス制御部の方位が当該顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定することを伴わな いことを特徴とする請求項28に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 32.前記顧客アクセス制御部のGPS受信機は単一チャネル受信機であること を特徴とする請求項28に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 33.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前記GPS受信機を使用し て、この顧客アクセス制御部の方位を決定するようにし、かつ、前記条件付きア クセス機構は、決定された方位がサービスのために許可された単一の固定方位に ある場合にのみ、アクセスを許可することを特徴とする請求項28に記載のビデ オ信号アクセス制御システム。 34.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ、及び、 遠隔信号源からの少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を搬送する伝送媒体から受信さ れる間接GPS信号を提供するように前記信号入力手段に動作可能に接続された デコーダ を備え、 前記GPSプロセッサは、前記間接GPS信号からの情報を用いて、どのGP S源が前記顧客アクセス制御部により使用されるべきであるかを決定すると共に 、決定されたGPS源の方位を決定する ことを特徴とする請求項28に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 35.前記顧客アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機から直接GPS情報を受けるように動作可能に接続されたG PSプロセッサ を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、少なくとも擬似ランダムである計測開始時間に て前記GPSプロセッサからの計測値を要求し、前記顧客アクセス制御部は、前 記GPSプロセッサ及び前 記条件付きアクセス機構を集積回路或いはスマートカードから成るグループから 選択された共通の封止容器の内部に備え、さらに、 この共通の封止容器は、その内部に、得られるべきデータが存在しているGP S源を選択するためのコードを発生するように動作可能なコード発生器を備える ことを特徴とする請求項28に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 36.顧客から遠く離れた中央アクセス制御部を具備するビデオ信号アクセス制 御システムにおいて、この中央アクセス制御部は、 少なくとも1つのビデオ信号をもつ信号源、 この信号源からのビデオ信号を顧客への伝送のための伝送媒体上に載せるため の出力装置、及び、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、データメッセージを 前記出力装置に供給するように動作可能に接続された中央GPS を備え、 このデータメッセージは位置情報に対応し、前記出力装置はこの位置情報を顧 客への伝送のための前記伝送媒体に供給することを特徴とするビデオ信号アクセ ス制御システム。 37.前記中央アクセス制御部は、さらに、 前記GPS受信機及び前記出力装置に動作可能に接続されて、ビデオ信号を伝 送媒体への載置に先立ってスクランブルするためのスクランブルキーを前記出力 装置に供給するようにする中 央条件付きアクセス機構 を備える ことを特徴とする請求項37に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 38.前記中央条件付きアクセス機構は、出力装置に供給される位置信号を暗号 化する ことを特徴とする請求項38に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。 39.さらに、顧客アクセス制御部を具備し、この顧客アクセス制御部は、 遠隔信号源から少なくとも1つのビデオ信号を受信するための信号入力手段、 この信号入力手段からビデオ信号を受信するように動作可能に接続されたビデ オ信号プロセッサ、 このビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続された条件付きアクセス機構、 前記ビデオ信号プロセッサに動作可能に接続され、前記条件付きアクセス機構 が前記遠隔信号源からの1以上のビデオ信号に対するアクセスを許可するときに のみ、使用可能なビデオ出力信号を提供する信号出力手段、並びに、 遠隔信号源から位置情報を受けるように動作可能であり、前記条件付きアクセ ス機構に動作可能に接続されたGPS信号受信機 を備え、 前記条件付きアクセス機構は、許可された方位にある顧客ア クセス制御部に一致する信号を前記GPS信号受信機が受信した場合にのみ、ア クセスを許可する ことを特徴とする請求項38に記載のビデオ信号アクセス制御システム。
