Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.エレメントの使用温度よりも高く設定された第1温度範囲においてマルテン サイト組織からオーステナイト組織へ変態し、それによって太さが増大するよう に、また上記使用温度より低く設定された第2温度範囲においてオーステナイト 組織からマルテンサイト組織へ変態するようにプログラム制御される大きなヒス テリシスを有した形状記憶合金から造られた金属ピン(2)は、リンクされるエ レメントの少なくても一方の盲孔かどうかを問わず少なくても一つの孔(3)に マルテンサイト組織でクランプされ;ピン(2)の太さが増大されて、それによ って孔(3)内部でのピン(2)のクランプ力が非常に大きくなるようにピン( 2)は引き続き第1温度領域よりも高い温度に加熱され;ピン(2)は最終的に 使用温度まで冷却されるようにした二つのエレメント、特に金属腕時計バンドの リンク(1)を取り付ける方法において、マルテンサイト組織を有したピン(2 )は、孔(3)の幅よりも若干大きい太さを有した状態で少なくても一つの孔( 3)に挿入されることを特徴とする二つのエレメントを締着する方法。 2.冷却時にオーステナイト組織からマルテンサイト組織へ戻ると、戻り温度、 即ちピン(2)の使用温度よりも低いマルテンサイト開始温度(Ms)での太さ が減少する形状記憶合金が使用されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方 法。 3.ピン(2)と孔(3)は丸くなっており、またピン(2)の上記太さと孔( 3)の幅とは直径(D1、D2)となっていることを特徴とする請求項1または 2に記載の方法。 4.40℃よりも高いオーステナイト開始温度(As)を有した記憶合金から造 られたピン(2)が使用されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか 一つに記載の方法。 5.オーステナイト開始温度(As)は、60と80℃の間に設定されることを 特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 6.80℃よりも高いオーステナイト終了温度(Af)を有した記憶合金から造 られたピン(2)が使用されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一つ に記載の方法。 7.90℃と200℃の間に設定されたオーステナイト終了温度(Af)を有し た記憶合金から造られたピン(1)が使用されることを特徴とする請求項6に記 載の方法。 8.−10℃よりも低いマルテンサイト開始温度(Ms)を有した記憶合金から 造られたピン(2)が使用されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一 つに記載の方法。 9.−40℃よりも低いマルテンサイト開始温度(Ms)を有した記憶合金から 造られたピン(2)が使用されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか一 つに記載の方法。
