Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 下記の工程a)〜d)を含んでなる、疎水性の表面基を有するエーロゲ ルの製造法。 a)珪酸エステル型リオゲルを装入し、 b)場合によっては、工程a)で装入したリオゲルに別の溶剤との溶剤交換を行 ない、 c)工程a)またはb)で得られたゲルを少なくとも1つのC1〜C6アルコール で表面変性させ、および d)工程c)で得られた、表面変性されたゲルを臨界未満条件下で乾燥させる。 2. 工程c)で少なくとも1つのC3〜C5アルコールを使用することを特徴 とする、請求項1に記載の製造法。 3. 工程c)でイソプロパノール、イソブタノール、または第三ブタノール を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の製造法。 4. アルコールを全溶剤に対して1〜100重量%の量で使用することを特 徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。 5. Siアルコキシドを有機溶剤中で水を用いて加水分解し、縮合させるこ とによって得ることができる珪酸エステル型リオゲルを装入し、引続き得られた ゲルを、該ゲルの含水量が5重量%以下になるまで有機溶剤で洗浄することを特 徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。 6. 水ガラス水溶液を酸イオン交換樹脂または無機酸を用いてpH値3以下 にして、生成した珪酸を塩基の添加によって重縮合させ、SiO2ゲルに変え、 かつ無機酸を利用した場合には、ゲルを水で電解液がなくなるまで洗浄すること によって得られる珪酸エステル型リオゲルを装入し、引続き得られたゲルを、該 ゲルの含水量が5重量%以下になるまで有機溶剤で洗浄することを特徴とする、 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。 7. 工程a)で得られたSiO2ゲルを洗浄前に20〜100℃および4〜 11のpH値で1秒〜48時間で熟成させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6の いずれか1項に記載の製造法。 8. 工程b)で有機溶剤としてC1〜C5アルコール、アセトン、テトラヒド ロフラン、酢酸エチル、ジオキサン、n−ヘキサン、n−ヘプタン、および/ま たはトルオエンを使用することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記 載の製造法。 9. 工程a)またはb)で得られたゲルを、シリル化前に、縮合能力を有す る一般式がR1 4-nSi(OR2)n〔式中、nは2〜4であり、R1およびR2は、 互いに独立に線状または分枝鎖状のC1〜C6アルキル基、シクロヘキシル基また はフェニル基である〕で示されるアルキルオルト珪酸エステルおよび/またはア リールオルト珪酸エステルの溶液と反応させるか、または珪酸水溶液と反応させ ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。 10. 表面変性を25℃〜220℃の範囲内の温度、1〜50バールの圧力 、30分〜20時間で行なうことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に 記載の製造法。 11. 表面変性を微少量のシリル化剤の存在で行なうことを特徴とする、請 求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。 12. 表面変性を触媒の存在で行なうことを特徴とする、請求項1〜11の いずれか1項に記載の製造法。 13. 表面変性したゲルを工程d)前に別の溶剤交換を行なうことを特徴と する、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の製造法。
