Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.金属シート(2,3;3a,3b)が層状の構成に積重ねられ、および/ま たは巻かれ、これは流体が流れることができる通路(7)を形成するための構造 を少なくとも部分的に有し、シート層(3)の少なくとも一部が、後の熱処理に おいて拡散によって実質的に均質化される、少なくとも1層(4)のクロミウム を含有する鋼と少なくとも1つの実質的にアルミニウムを含有する層(5,6) とを有する積層材料を初めに含む、ハニカム本体(1)を製造するためのプロセ スであって、シート層(2,3;3a,3b)の少なくとも一部が熱処理の前お よびその間にハニカム本体(1)の粘性の度合を高める構造(10;13,14 )を有し、ハニカム本体(1)が、熱処理時にシート層(2,3;3a,3b) 間の接触場所(9,15)が接触し続けるような度合のプレストレシングで管状 ケーシング(8)に嵌め込まれることを特徴とする、プロセス。 2.シート層間の接触場所(9)の全体にわたる表面積がシート層(2,3)の 少なくとも一部で付加的な微細構造(10)によって低減され、このように、熱 処理の間に接触場所(9)を維持するのに必要なプレストレシングが低減される ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプロセス。 3.付加的な微細構造(10)が通路(7)の方向に対して横断してまたは傾斜 して延びる構造であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプロセス。 4.付加的な微細構造(10)が実質的に通路の方向に延びる構造であることを 特徴とする、請求項2に記載のプロセス。 5.隣接したシートにおける微細構造(10)が、ポジティブにロックする関係 で一方が他方に係合することによる隣接した微細構造のクランピングまたはクリ ッピング相互係合が起こらないかまたはまれにしか起こらないような態様で延び ることを特徴とする、請求項2、請求項3または請求項4に記載のプロセス。 6.シート層がポジティブにロックする関係で一方が他方に係合する隣接したシ ート層の構造によって互いにクランピングまたはクリッピングされ、したがって 、熱処理の間にわずか非常に低い度合のプレストレシングでもシート層が互いに 対して移動できないことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプロセス。 7.ハニカム本体におけるプレストレシングが管状ケーシングとハニカム本体と の間の弾力のある中間層によって熱処理の間に維持されることを特徴とする、先 行するクレームの1つに記載のプロセス。 8.ハニカム本体よりも低い熱膨張係数を有する管状ケーシング(8)が用いら れることを特徴とする、先行する請求項の1つに記載のプロセス。
