Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 従来の方法で発生する接合部での接着剤の劣
化、破損及び異物の入り込みによる損傷、剥離、さらに
繰り返し衝撃によるゆるみ等を解決し、反発能力の向
上、スイートスポットの拡大、低重心、大型化、軽量化
及び美観を図る。 【解決手段】 本発明のゴルフクラブヘッドは、ゴルフ
クラブヘッド本体（１）と金属被膜（３）を行ったフェ
イス板（２）を溶接法により接合している。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、融点の大きく異な
る２種類の材料を溶接接合し、機械的強度のある接合を
実現するゴルフクラブヘッドの作り方に関するものであ
る。

【従来の技術】従来は、樹脂剤による接着固定、または
ネジ、クサビによる機械的固定である。
【０００３】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の方法では、 （イ）接着部の接着剤の劣化、板の剥離や砂などの小異
物の侵入による損傷及び破損が発生する。 （ロ）ネジやクサビによる機械的固定では、繰り返し衝
撃により接合部にゆるみが発生する。 （ハ）接合部が金属的接合でないため衝撃時の反発力が
低下する。本発明では、これらの欠点を除くためになさ
れたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上記課題に対し
てなされたもので、その目的とするところは、接合部を
溶接接合し、上記課題の欠点を除いたゴルフクラブヘッ
ドを提供しようとするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】本発明のゴルフクラブヘッドの作
用について、図１の実施例を用いて説明する。ゴルフク
ラブヘッド本体（１）とフェイス板（２）とを溶接法に
より金属接合する。

【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例について説明する。 （イ）ゴルフクラブヘッド本体（１）のフェイス面と同
一形状の大きさのフェイス板（２）を作製する。 （ロ）フェイス板（２）の接合面側部に爆発溶接法によ
り金属被膜（３）の処理を行う。 （ハ）ゴルフクラブヘッド本体（１）と金属被膜（３）
を行ったフェイス板（２）を溶接する。 （ニ）溶接後の盛り上り部は、形状整形と美観のために
切削・研削加工及び研磨加工を行い仕上げする。

【発明の効果】本発明は接合部が溶接接合のため、衝撃
時での高い反発力を生み、接合部のゆるみ、劣化、損
傷、破損及び異物の入り込みなどが生じず長期間の使用
において安定である。さらにスイートスポットの拡大、
低重心、大型化、軽量化を図ることができる。
