Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for actuating an arm of an industrial robot or the like, in which the arm having at its forward end a work holding gripper can be moved upward and downward, expanded or contracted and also rotated by a single driving source, thereby simplifying the structure of controlling system and at the same time reducing the cost for manufacture.
