Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain title compound useful as fungicide and metabolic antagonist and also useful as intermediate for 5-fluoro-uracil readily and in high yield by reacting uracil with fluorine at a certain concentration of aq. fluoric acid and at comparatively lower temperature, followed by removal of the solvent.
