Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively recover heat from a waste heat source, by providing a heat passage with a plurality of boilers different in pressure from each other and installing steam/water drums different in pressure from each other correspondingly to the boilers and connecting the boilers to the corresponding drums.
CONSTITUTION: The boilers 3W5 are sequentially provided in the passage 2 for the waste heat 1 so that the pressure of the high-pressure boiler 3, the medium- pressure boiler 4 and the low-pressure boiler 5 are located in this order toward the downstream. The high-pressure boiler 3 is connected for circulation with the high- pressure steam/water drum 6. The medium-pressure boiler 4 is connected for circulation with the medium-pressure steam/water drum 7. The low-pressure boiler 5 is connected for circulation with the low-pressure steam/water drum 8. The working medium in each drum can be conducted into the corresponding boiler and heated therein and returned to the drum. The upper parts of the steam/water drums 6W8 are connected to turbines 16W18, respectively. The low-pressure turbine 18 is coupled to a steam condenser 23 to condense the working-finished medium to water. Since the working medium is moved from the low pressure side to the high pressure side while preheated, the efficiency of the Rankine cycle is raised.
