Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a secure preventive measure for pipe fitting separation by hindering slip-out of any projection through the diameter enlargement of a lock ring by such a construction that this lock ring is formed with a piece in circumferential view and every hook-shaped member of the lock ring is bolt-fixed with the aid of a coupling member.
CONSTITUTION: The separation of the socket 1 from the plug 2 is prevented through engagement of a step 5a of the socket 1 with a projection 6 of the plug 2 with a lock ring 7 interposed. When any pull-out force is applied between the socket 1 and the pulg 2, a diameter enalrgement force F is applied to the lock ring 7 due to the engagement with the projection 6 of plug 2. But the hook-shaped members 10a, 10b at the both ends of the lock ring 7 are coupled with the coupling members 11, so that undesirable enlargement of the lock ring 7 which might cause slip- out of the projection 6 of the plug 2, will never occur. Thus a secure prevention for pipe fitting's separation is obtained.
