Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out economical partial plating of superior quality by continuously running a long-sized material to be plated above a plating vessel provided with a jet nozzle in the longitudinal direction.
CONSTITUTION: Jet nozzle 3 is attached to the bottom of plating vessel 2 filled with plating soln. 4 through plate 5 so that nozzle hole 7 is facing upward. By running long-sized material 1 to be plated while in contact with the surface of soln. 4, material 1 is one-side plated. Since soln. 4 is spouted from nozzle 3, soln. 4 in vessel 2 is always stirred. Receiver 10 is placed outside vessel 2 provided with drain pipe 2, and soln. 4 overflowing from vessel 2 is circulated through nozzle 3 and returned to vessel 2. By sticking a masking tape to the unnecessary part of material 1, one-side partial plating is made possible. It is not required to stick a masking tape to the back side.
