Abstract
PURPOSE: In a system for regeneration of used cleanser by distillation, to ensure the separation between a solvent and water and to compact the water separator.
CONSTITUTION: In a dry cleaner, a solvent in a first tank 1 is driven by a pump 2 through a filter 3 into cleaning drum 4 for cleaning, and the solvent returned to the tank 1 after cleaning is distilled in a distillator 6 and returned to the tank 1 through a condenser 8 and a water separator 9. Between the condenser 8 and the water separator 9 is placed a second tank 7 having a volume corresponding to the amount of solvent used for each cleaning operation. The tank 1 is fitted wit a solvent inflow pipe 13 and overflow pipe 19, and a water separation pipe 14 opening top and bottom is placed below the pipe 13, with a solvent take-out pipe 15 opening into the pipe 14. This constitution achieves the purpose effectively.
