Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the safety of reactor by finding and judging the abnormality of LPRM surely and easily by selecting the data of local power range monitoring system (LPRM) varying hourly.
CONSTITUTION: Digital value of LPRM 2 located in the core 1 is entered into the core performance calculation unit 3 with plant data, and burnup calculated with core performance calculation unit 3 is entered into LPRM degradation correction unit 4. Further, the calculation value of LPRM 2 is corrected with LPRM degradation correction unit 4 to standardize with power standardization unit 5, and enters into LPRM calculation memory unit 6 with a proper time interval. After this, the time variation rate of digital value is caluclated with LPRM digital average unit 7, judging with the variation rate judging unit 8. The alarm device is energized when the variation rate is positive or genative.
