Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of survey and shorten the time thereof, by keeping the voltage of a high-voltage pulse constant.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal voltage of a power capacitor 12 is detected by a voltage detector 23. When the detected voltage has exceeded a reference voltage, the detected voltage is applied to a first input terminal of an AND cirucit 26. An output T2 of a timing circuit 25 is applied to a second input terminal of the AND circuit 26. The output pulse of the circuit 26 is applied to a thyristor 19 through an OR circuit 27 and an amplifier 28. The thyristor is triggered by the output pulse to energize a coil 13-4 of a vacuum switch 13 by the charge of a capacitor 18 to bring a contact 13-3 into touch with another 13-2. Because the reference voltage is fixed, the vacuum switch is actuated when the charging voltage of the power capacitor has a prescribed level. The voltage of the high-voltage pulse which is the output of the vacuum switch is thus kept constant despite the magnitude of the grounding resistance 4 on a trouble point. Therefore, the efficiency of survey is not affected by the magnitude of the grounding resistance.
