Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the evaporation of a coolant to a shield plug, by mounting a ringed trap, a spiral cooler and a heat insulating layer between a reactor container and the shield plug.
CONSTITUTION: A ringed clearance 8 is formed between a reactor container 1 and a shield plug 2, and a circular trap 9, a spiral cooler 10 and a heat insulating layer are installed to an inner circumference of the reactor container 1 in the circumferential direction. Inert gases containing sodium vapor rise and flow into the clearance 8, but are cooled by means of the cooler 10, and sodium in the gases condenses in the trap 9 and is collected.
