Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The charging current Ic is turned on the main capacitor 14 through the auxiliary coil 15b of the transformer for charging and discharge 15 during charging period. It is unnecessary to add controlling circuit putting in turn off condition forcibly, because voltage is induced in the primary side coil 15a by the above current and the thyristor 16a is turned off. Next, a fixed electric energy accumulated in the capacitor 14, is dicharged by the thyristor 16 during discharge period and welding is carried out turning discharge current Id on the coil 15a. By the above construction, discharge energy is able to utilize effectively by thickening wire diameter of the coil 15a and lowering impedance and also, charging current is able to restrain by thinning wire diameter of the coil 15b in charging circuit.
