Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high dielectric porcelain, capable of processing a sintering at low temperature, with a less dielectric loss and an excellent insulation resistance, by constructing a composite of Pb(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-Pb(Fe1/2W1/2) O3- Pb(Mn2/3W1/3)O3 system.
CONSTITUTION: 0.05 to 5.0 wt.% of Pb(Mn2/3W1/3)O3 is added to be contained in a composite being composed of 64.42 to 68.58 wt.% of PbO, 0.61 to 14.21 wt.% of Fe2O3, 5.75 to 26.89 wt.% of Nb2O5, 0 to 3.92 wt.% of MgO, and 0 to 15.62 wt.% of WO3. For instance, with each oxide compounded so as to provide the above described composition to process a calcination for two hours at temperture of 700 to 850°C obtaining a solid phase reactant, after being pulverized and blended, a forming is processed with a caking agent applied, and a firing is finally operated for two hours at temperature of 800 to 1,000°C to obtain a porcelain material. In this way, an addition of accessory ingredient of Pb(Mn2/3W1/3)O3 heightens an insulation resistance and stabilizes a temperature characteristic, simultaneously with a sintering made processable at low temperature, thus capable of using a metal of low melting point like Ag, Ni, Al systems for embedded internal electrodes.
