Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformalize intensity of illumination, by obtaining relative relations of a desk length LD, a lamp length LF, a light irradiation length LM and a light source length LL following the inequalities of LF/LD≥0.8, LM/LF≥0.9, and LL/ LF≥0.85.

CONSTITUTION: Since it was found that a length LF of a lamp 1 against a length LD of a desk 4, and a proportion among the LF, a length LM of a light irradiation part 3 and a heat source length LL have a close relation with distribution of intensity of illumination, the distribution of the intensity of illumination on the desk has been checked according to a various change in types of combination of them. As a result, if the inequality of LFLD≥0.8 is established in the case of LM/LF≥0.9 and LL/LF≥0.85, eyes looking at a desk surface do not become fatigued, and a deterioration of a working efficiency can bve prevented. If LF/LD≥1 is established even in the envent of LF/LD≥0.8, the desk 4 can not be used in such a manner that arranges the desks in the direction of the length LD. A condition LF/LD<1 is thus needed.
