PURPOSE: To provide a method of manufacturing light emitting tubes for highvoltage discharge lamp, according to which both end portions of the halfproduct of a light emitting tube are sealed by way of full-press method and the sealing portions at the end portions thus sealed are partially cut off, whereby it is enabled to afford a favarable effect on efficiency and color rendering performance of the lamp.
