Abstract
PURPOSE: Heat-sensitive adhesive composition of natural or synthetic resin and resorcinol compounds are incorporated as major components to produce title composition that has high adhesion to wood, paper, fiber, leather, and metal and further improved resistance to water and weathering.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of heat-sensitive adhesive composition of natural or sytheric resin such as ethylene-vinly acetate copolymer, polyethylene, or atactic polyproplylene, are incroporated 0.1, preferably 0.3 part or more of resorcinol compounds, which is preferably oil-shale resorcinol fraction that is produced in the dry distillation of oil shale from economic point of view
