Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of cleaning oil fence efficiently and safely, while guiding the oil fence smoothly with no fear of causing damages to the same.
CONSTITUTION: The oil-fence guiding and cleaning apparatus of this invention comprises oil-fence guiding roller means 6 arranged to be capable of turning around a vertical axis and washing means W disposed adjacently of the roller means 6 for cleaning the oil fence 8 that has been pulled up from the water surface and guided by roller means 6. The roller means 6 is made of a multiplicity of small-diametered rollers 6b disposed between a pair of upper and lower flanges 6c, 6c to be capable of turning around respective vertical axes. The washing means W, on the other hand, is provided with a number of nozzles 9a for ejecting water toward the path of oil fence 8
