Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce cost, by using a wet type grader as a solid/liquid separator and re-using slurry of high dust content for addition of water and slurry of low dust content for washing.
CONSTITUTION: Washing water 2 supplied under pressur by a pump 1 is projected from a washing nozzle 3 to a belt. Contaminated water 6 removed of adhering dusts is collected by a gutter 7 and introduced into a relay tank 8. The contaminated water is then conducted under pressure by a pump 9 to the wet typ grader 10, which separates the contamnated water into washing water of low dust content and under flow slurry 12. The washing water 2, which is supernatant slurry, is suplied to a pump pit 11 to be re-used. The under flow slurry 12 is added by an adding nozzle 13 and a conveyor 15 to a matter 16 being conveyed 16. The belt is removed of water by a rotary brush 4 and a scraper 5
