Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a spiral element discribed in the title which has no hollow tube and is of uniform quality, by winding spirally a sealed tube whose one or more sides are formed with a semipermeable membrane, flow-path material for permeating liq., and flow-path material for raw liq., with the closed end of the sealed tube placed at the center.
CONSTITUTION: One or more sides of a liq.-separating element 6 held in a cylindrical vessel 1 are constituted of sealed tubes 8 made of semipermeable membranes, and inside of the tube forms a permeating-liq. flow path 9. In the flow path 9 is arranged flow-path material 9' for permeating liq. On the other hand, a raw-liq. flow path 10 is formed at outside of a sealed tube 8, and in the path 10 is installed porous raw-liq. flow-path material 10' which faces to the semipermeable membrane. The flow-path material 9', sealed tube 8, and flow-path material 10' are wound spirally with the closed end 13 of the sealed tube 8 placed at the center, and the opened end 12 of the sealed tube 8 opens at outer periphery of the element 6
