In this setup, excitation in the vibration mode of (1,1,1) is possible, so that the equivalent impedance may be reduced. In addition, by rotating the side face of the vibrator by -49 deg. to -52 deg. from Z-axis and by making the side ratio of the vibrator smaller than 0.3, excellent frequency- temperature characteristics may be obtained.
