Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide efficient power transmission with a compact unit by connecting a driving shaft, a driving shaft and an oil pump to three power transmitters of a differential gear unit and by controlling resistance torque generated by the oil pump through detection of the number of revolutions of the driven shaft.
CONSTITUTION: In a differential gear unit, a gear 1 is fixed on a driving shaft 5 and a driving shaft 4 secured to a revolving shaft 8 of a planetary pinion gear 2 is connected to an output shaft 11 by means of gears 9 and 10. The inner teeth of the ring gear 3 engage a gear 2, with outer teeth engaing a pump gear 6. Large torque is supplied to the driven shaft 4 by a process in which the number of revolution is detected by a governor 12 connected to the output shaft 11, oil flow from an oil path 17 is reduced by a control device 15 in proportion to detected output, with the oil flow being increased with increments in the number of revolutions of the output shaft 11 so as to transmit resistance torque to the ring gear 3
