Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Phenoxyphenoxypropionic acid derivatives expressed by formula I: (R is OH, -O- cation, lower alkoxy, lower alkenyloxy, benzyloxy, or lower alkylthio group).
EXAMPLE: Sodium α-[4-(4-difluoromethoxyphenoxy)phenoxy] propionatee.
USE: Herbicides particularly having selective herbicidal activities to kill the Graminea weeds without giving damages to broadleaf crops.
