Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a long-acting cold remedy for external use which can be applied without staining the clothes and the skin, by spreading a plaster composition containing a volatile effective component which vaporizes by the body heat, on a substrate through which the effective component can be easily evaporated.
CONSTITUTION: A cold remedy for external use is prepared by spreading a plaster composition containing a volatile cold remedy such as terpentine oil, camphor, menthol, etc. to a breathable substrate such as rough cloth, nonwoven colth, pref. flannel. The base of the plaster is pref. hydrophilic. As an alternative method, the plaster is spread to an arbitrary cloth, and making a number of perforations to the coated colth to accelerate the vaporization of the effective component
