Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a burner wherein a rise time required to reach stationary combustion at starting is shortened by providing a heat-insulating space between the end planes facing each other of a carburettor and a heat-insulating ring, said heat-insulating space eliminating the leakage of heat from the carburettor at starting.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-insulating space 5 is provided between the end planes facing each other of a carburettor 1 and a heat-recovery ring 2 at the downstream side of the carburettor. If the carburettor 1 is heated by means of an electric heater 4, an evaporation surface 1A which evaporates a liquid fuel is rapidly heated, and the heat is hardly transmitted to the heat-recovery ring 2. Thus, the leakage of heat at starting is elminated
