Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of overvoltage by memorizing the treminal voltage on load side calcuated on the basis of load current detection signal introduced as a controlled variable and by making a fixed voltage control with the memorized value even when controlled variable disappers.
CONSTITUTION: When the no-break power unit 1 is connected to the load L at a long distance, after passing a load current detected by the current transformer CT to the current-voltage conversion circuit 4, the terminal volatge at load terminal is calculated by detected load current at the arithmetic circuit 5, and the terminal voltage is memorized by the memory circuit 6 and at the same time put in the decision circuit 7, whereby switching the electronic switch 8 to control the chopper CH. Thus, when the breaker CB is tripped and only non-load current remains, the memory circuit 6 which memorized data just before this point controls a fixed voltage control. Thus, it is possible to perform stable operation without overvoltage ocurring in output voltage
