Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the external connection of the microcomputer by memorizing once the character signal into one unit of the RAM element through one piece of the data bus and then memorizing again the signal into the memory address suited for reading based on the program.
CONSTITUTION: For the circuit through which the TV game is carried out by the microcomputer, CPU1 reads the program for character broadcast reception out of ROM and executes it when the output of program selecting input circuit 15 is supplied to CPU1 via interface 4 in the reception of the character signal. In other words, the switch signal is supplied to signal switch gate 12 from interface 4, and the synchronous signal supplied to mixer circuit 10 is switched to the video signal. At the same time, the synchronous signals are counted, the output aorresponding to the 20th horizontal scanning section is drawn out of interface 4, and 20H sampling gate 14 is opened. As a result, the character signals piled on the vertical flyback section plus 80 bits equivalent to 5 channels are memorized into one unit of RAM via a piece of the data bus
