Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly heat resistant and anti-corrosive Al-conductor of a low contact resistance by the procedure in which a zinc replacement treatment and a copper cyanide plating treatment are applied to the Al contact of conductor to be treated and then neutralization, an acid lustered tin plating, and a decoloration prevention treatment are performed by turn. CONSTITUTION:After applying a degreasing-acid washing treatment on the contact of Al-conductors, a zinc replacement treatment is made, with subsequent copper cyanide plating treatment by an electric plating method. Then, it is neutralized by a diluted sulfuric acid solution, washed by water, and then applied an acid lustered tin plating. Then, it is dipped into a trisodium phosphate solution for preventing decoloration, washed by hot water, and then blasted by air for the surface treatment of conductor contact. Each contact of Al-conductor thus treated is superposed on the other and then clamped with bolts for connection. This method enbles one to obtain higher performance of connecting structure.
