Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a pillar wire with edges higher in insulation resistance by arranging an insulator or insulated conductor along the two widthwise sides of a pillar conductor so as to form pools for collecting an insulating varnish prior to application and baking of the varnish thereto.
CONSTITUTION: An insulator 5 or 6 of an insulated conductor 7 is so arranged along the two widthwise sides 10 and 10' of a pillar conductor 1 as to form pools 8 for collecting an insulating varnish 2. Then, the insulating varnish 2 is applied to the entire surface of the conductor 1 and baked. The filaments 5, 6 or 7 employes a flexible material with a round or square cross section. The relation between the diameter or thickness A of the filament 5, 6 or 7 and the thickness B of the conductor 1 is preferably A≥B. The application of the varnish 2 is performed by spreading with a felt, immersion or the like. With such an arrangement, a pillar wire with edges higher in insulation resistance can be obtained regardless or the ratio of thickness to width
