Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a detergent supplying apparatus for washer, comprising a water supplying case and a water receptacle consisting of a detergent receptacle and a mixing chamber and arranged to be inserted into said water supplying case, wherein water is made to overflow from the detergent receptacle, and mixture of water and detergent is supplied into washing tank through apertures formed in the bottom of said mixing chamber, whereby cleaning performance of detergent can be exerted promptly with a proper amount of detergent.
CONSTITUTION: Water receptacle 28 consists of a detergent receptacle 29 in which detergent is put and a mixing chamber 31 formed in its bottom with a number of apertures 30, in which water and detergent is mixed. The detergent receptacle 29 and mixing chamber 31 are divided by partition plate 33, the height of which is lower than the peripheral wall. When water is supplied to water receptacle 28, after putting detergent in the detergent receptacle 29 and inserting receptacle 28 into water supplying case 34, water and detergent in receptacle 29 flow over the partition plate 33 into mixing chamber 31, in which they are mixed together. Then, the mixture of water and detergent is discharged from the chamber 31 formed between the bottom of receptacle 28 and the bottom of case 34, supplied to washing tank.
