Abstract

PURPOSE: To always keep the r. p. m. of a driving engine constant and improve the gnerator frequency accuracy by connecting an inductive load to the generator and decrease the inductive load in accordance with the increase in the generator load.
CONSTITUTION: An armature coil 5 is directly connected to an engine 1 as the rotor of a generator 7 and the rotor 12 of an inductive load 11 is connected to it. The inductive load 11 is provided with two DC excitation windings 13 and 14 which are opposed to the rotor 12. One winding 13 is connected to the output side of the generator 7 through a rectifier 15 and constant current is always applied. The other winding 14 is connected to the current transformer 17 of the generator 7 through a rectifier 16 and current is applied in accordance with the generator load. Inverse current is applied in the windings 13 and 14. As a result, when the load of the generator 7 increases, it decreases the inductive load 11 and always keeps its sum load and the r. p. m. of the engine constant, thus permitting frequency accuracy to be improved.
