Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish the exposure control on the basis of a stable photometric output by continuing the prohibition of an inhibition circuit until the counted value of a digital photometric value reaches a preset level.
CONSTITUTION: The photometric output by a photometric circuit 1 is converted into a digital value by an A/D converter 2 so that it may be counted by a counter 6. When the counted value reaches a corresponding preset value until the photometric value is stablilized after a power is supplied, AND gates 3, 8 and 7 constituting a prohibition circuit are released from their prohibited conditions and are closed in response to the counted output of the counter 6. Thus, the operation of a operational circuit based on the phatometric value, the indication of an exposure time second at an indicator, and the control of a shutter corresponding to the brightness of an object in according to the shutter release signals of a shutter time second control circuit 10 are accomplished so that the proper exposure control based upon the stable photometric output can be performed.
